The spring water has a strange sweetness. My husband said the same thing, but it was so delicious that I had to take a second look, or even a second taste, thinking, "Was Shimabara hot spring water really this sweet?" However, even though it's so delicious, it's a shame that it's not well-presented at all - it needs to be more appealing!

This hot spring is drinkable, located in front of Shimabara City Hall! There are five drinking springs in the city, and you can drink it freely. It has a mellow taste. 😄 It's said to be good for duodenal ulcers, reflux esophagitis, diabetes, and gout. It's a great place to stop by while exploring the city. ♪

It's not located at that point on the map. It's next to the city hall, beside a large floor-to-ceiling window, separated from a red mailbox. Is it because I drank milk half an hour ago? This hot spring water...it tastes pretty good. Haha.

It was warm, had no strong flavor and was easy to drink.
