白石湯沢温泉旅館やくせん

I visited around 10:30 on a weekday. There were two other guests there. The washing area and bath were spacious and comfortable. Only indoor baths are available. The bath has handrails and a flat floor, making it very comfortable. Daytime bathing is available from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Closed: 4th Wednesday and Thursday. Price: ¥700. Lunch available until 1:00 PM. Glauber's salt spring, sodium-calcium sulfate spring (hypotonic alkaline hot spring). 100% natural spring water, no circulation. Almost colorless and transparent. Water temperature: 35.5°C. Heated to 44.8°C. A very comfortable "lukewarm" water that feels like about 37°C. Water is drinkable! Even the showers seem to be from the source. Rinse-in shampoo, body soap, and hair dryers are provided. Lockers with locks are available (¥100 fee). The facility was very clean and comfortable. If you enter from the Fukushima side, the road is winding and undulating, but it's mostly two lanes so you can get up without any worries.
This is a really nice hot spring, although be warned that the water is lukewarm. I like it hotter, but I liked this place. There is only one bath, but you can soak in the lukewarm water and warm up slowly. The history of this hot spring is written in the bathroom, so be sure to read it, and you'll understand why the water is lukewarm. Body soap, rinse-in shampoo, and hair dryers are provided. Lockers cost 100 yen and do not need to be returned. It seems you can also eat there.
It was a great hot spring. There was one large indoor bath. The water was so warm I could stay in it forever. Even though it was lukewarm, I was still warm from the inside out. It left my skin feeling smooth and silky, which was nice. It seems to date back to the Heian period, but it seems to have taken on its current form in the Heisei period. The building has a retro feel and a great atmosphere. I would like to bring my parents here next time to stay and relax.
♨Notes♨ ●Color: Colorless and transparent ●Skin Texture: Smooth and silky ●Scent: Almost odorless, with a faint chloride scent ●Temperature: 37°C ●After Bath: Long-lasting warmth ●Other Information: There is a drinking fountain, and the water smells like hot spring eggs. It also has a slightly salty taste. 2026/02/07
