Around 5:30 PM on a weekday I visited for a day trip to the hot springs. The entrance was a little difficult to find, so I've included a photo. Since it's a hot spring within a hotel, I took the elevator from the hotel entrance to the 19th floor reception, checked in, received a special card and towel set, and then went to the Sky Spa on the 26th floor. The price is 2,000 yen including a bath towel and face towel, but for Hirakata residents, it's a nice 1,500 yen. The elevator and spa entrance require a special card to be scanned before they activate. The changing room was compact, but not cramped, and the warm-colored lighting created a bright and calming atmosphere. The baths consisted of an open-air bath, an indoor bath, a cold bath, and a sauna. The baths themselves weren't particularly spacious; they were relatively compact, seemingly designed primarily for hotel guests. Perhaps because the prices are set a bit high, it wasn't crowded at all. There were only about 3-4 people in the bath, and they were spread out in the indoor bath, open-air bath, and sauna, so at most there were only two people in the same space. The clientele seemed rather refined and quiet, which made for a very peaceful bathing experience. What's particularly noteworthy, as others have mentioned, is the location. The view of the Yodo River from the 26th floor is exceptional, and you can enjoy it from both the bath and the sauna. As I pondered the past, imagining the bustling ferry boats crossing this river during the Edo period, amidst the modern building, the sun set behind the mountains—another breathtaking sight. After the sun went down, the night view sparkled, making it a double treat! (￣ー￣) The amenities also had a pleasant cedarwood-like aroma, which was very relaxing. Personally, this is a hot spring I would definitely like to revisit. I apologize for the long message.

A facility located on the 26th floor of the Candeons Hotel. Day use is also available. The price may be high, but there are few users, making it well worth the price for a relaxing time. • Price Day use: 2,000 yen First, go to the reception on the 19th floor. Submit your identification and create a membership card. Receive (1) a card key, (2) a bath towel, (3) a towel, and (4) a plastic bag. All amenities are provided in the bathroom, but combs are only available on this floor. Take one if needed. • Entry Take the dedicated elevator from the 19th floor to the 26th floor. The elevator will not operate without a card key. After arriving on the 26th floor, enter the changing room with your card key. There is a water dispenser and paper cups in the changing room, which is a nice little touch. • Bathroom ① Main bathtub A spacious bathtub. 1. Bathwater temperature: approximately 40 degrees Celsius. The view through the glass is magnificent. 2. Sauna Indoor thermometer reading: approximately 90 degrees Celsius. It was 80 degrees Celsius upon entry and gradually became hotter. Capacity: about 7 people on three tiers of seating. Automatic löyly (steam) is performed periodically. 3. Cold bath Shallow bathtub. Capacity: 3 people. Water temperature: approximately 16 degrees Celsius. 4. Washing area Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and facial cleanser are provided. Razors and shaving cream are located at the sink in the changing room. 5. Open-air bath Bathtub about the same size as the indoor bath. Again, the view is magnificent. Water temperature: approximately 39 degrees Celsius. There is a bench for 4 people for relaxing after the sauna.

Drop-in baths are available. If you apply at the front desk on the 19th floor, you'll receive a towel, bath towel, and card key, then head to the spa on the top floor. The indoor and outdoor baths are each 40.7 degrees. The cold bath is 17 degrees. The dry sauna can fit 10 people. It's probably around 90 degrees. Auto-louver. The view is really beautiful. You can also see the view from the sauna. The faucets are well-placed. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap are provided. The only downside is that there is a big step when exiting the indoor bath, and the water from the faucets, mixed with soap, flows out, making it slippery and dangerous. The handrail on the stone pillar is far away and useless, so please be careful when exiting.

A rare sight, a very pleasant bath and sauna. Of course, the view is a winner, but still, taking a bath in an open space with this view, followed by a sauna while looking out at the night view (the temperature is a little low, but there is an automatic louver that operates about once every 10 minutes?). The cold water bath, which is controlled at around 15 degrees, is amazing.
