This private sauna, located adjacent to the Onogawa Onsen Tofuya Ryokan, requires reservations. It's a special space where you can refresh and unwind without worrying about others. The sauna room temperature can be adjusted from 70 to 100 degrees, and you can even try self-loyly. It's equipped with a cold bath, infinity chairs, and showers, as well as Bluetooth speakers and aroma mist, providing added relaxation. Up to two people can use the sauna together, making it a great choice for close friends, couples, or parents and children. Since it's a private space, you can relax and enjoy conversation without worry, even during the COVID-19 pandemic. Another great feature is the 100% natural hot spring water directly from the source, all within the same building. Onogawa Onsen is known for its skin-beautifying properties, leaving your skin feeling moisturized and smooth after a bath and feeling warmed to the core. The combined effects of the natural hot spring and sauna make it ideal for both skin care and detoxification. Bathing in the hot springs is optional, but we highly recommend you try it!

I recently had the opportunity to experience a private sauna session before its official opening as part of a monitor program. It was a newly built private sauna, and I was very excited to use it. There was a self-service löyly (steam) with aroma spray, and the sauna temperature was around 70℃. We chatted for 15 minutes, sweated thoroughly, rinsed off, and then refreshed ourselves in a cold bath that felt about 15℃! Then we relaxed in the cool air for three more sets. Besides the cold bath, there was a shower, and shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were provided, so it's convenient even if you don't have time to use the facility's hot springs. Nearly two hours flew by! I thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable space and felt completely refreshed. For snacks, they had Oronamin C, ion drinks, and gelato made with Takayama's secret beans (a Yonezawa Quality Award winner), which I thought was a great service for women. I would like to use it again.

This private sauna was created by renovating a room at Tofuya Ryokan. It's a very authentic Finnish-style sauna. Since it's exclusively for you, you can do whatever you want, whenever you want, which is heavenly. You can even do a self-loyly with your favorite aroma. You can also enjoy the optional vihta. You can play your favorite music through the Bluetooth speaker. You can adjust the temperature of the cold bath to your liking, and you can even add ice if you like. A recommended option is a wooden wick candle. The flickering flame and crackling sound are extremely soothing.

This is a special private sauna. What makes it unique is that you can bathe in Onogawa Onsen before entering the sauna. The exceptional hot spring waters of Onogawa Onsen seem to have a positive effect on warming you up in the sauna. I highly recommend trying it out. You can do a self-loyly in the sauna room, which will warm you up just right. As it's a private sauna, you can also adjust the temperature of the cold water bath. Best of all, the infinity chairs in this private space were the ultimate. It was truly amazing to have a private sauna in my favorite hot spring resort!

I was surprised by how authentic the sauna was, beyond my expectations. The sauna room is spacious enough for two people to sleep in, and you can even reach 100°C with a self-loyly. You can also make the cold water bath ice-cold. You can also bathe in the open air, which is rare in private saunas in Tokyo. There are infinity chairs, and I loved opening the window and bathing in the semi-open air! There are speakers and an Oropo, so listening to the Sauna Road songs while relaxing was just amazing (lol). It's far away, but I definitely want to come again!!
