It had no scent. Reclining bath There are two. Small but the power is decent and it feels great. Bubble bath Slightly larger, with a high power. Electric bath The power was lower than the others, so it was very pleasant to use! Cold bath Set at 13 degrees, it's incredibly cold and feels great! It's deep, but the space is such that only one person is allowed in. Medicinal Bath It was labeled as a ginger bath, but it smelled of damp laundry... I couldn't get in, as expected... Sauna It's rectangular, and the aisles are so narrow that you'll rub against people sitting down. It looks like it could fit about six people if packed in, but judging by the bath towels laid out, it looks like it's designed for three or four people. There's a TV, so it would be great if you could get in front of it at the back. Mist Sauna Didn't use it this time. Open-Air Bath A cold bath, to my surprise! It was winter, so I went there thinking it would be nice after the sauna, but it was too cold to soak in... It looks like it would be incredibly nice in the summer. [Summary] It seems to be converted into alkaline simple hot spring water using a special machine. It's listed as a benefit of leaving skin smooth, but I didn't really notice it. The reclining bath was so pleasant that I ended up falling asleep for a bit. There were no particularly outstanding features compared to other hot springs, but it was very clean and well-maintained. The old lady at the front desk and the customers seemed to get along well, and I enjoyed hearing her greetings, making it a very comfortable space. There's a coin laundry in front of the hot spring, and I could see about two massage machines inside. I've been back, but compared to other hot springs, it doesn't have much character, so it's not a high priority for me personally. I definitely recommend checking it out!

February 13, 2026 My wife and I visited for the first time between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. In conclusion, women should avoid going. There is a hair dryer here that costs 20 yen, but my wife told me that a male employee entered the women's changing room to collect the fee. According to my wife, the male employee stayed there for a while, while the other women hid behind the lockers. It's really unthinkable that a man would enter the women's bath. A female employee was there when we checked in (around 4:00 PM). If they were going to collect the fee, that's when they should normally do it. I'm sure they were replaced while we were there, but I don't understand why a male employee would collect it. The severity of the invasion of privacy is different when a female employee cleans or inspects the men's bath compared to when a male employee enters the women's bath. There is no symmetry. Furthermore, it's strange for a man to perform collection duties that could be done after closing time when women are using the bath, even though there is no emergency. I'll say it again, What I find most unforgivable is the fact that, even though a female staff member was at the reception desk at 4 PM, a male staff member was in the women's changing room by 5 PM. It should have been possible to collect the fees when a female staff member was there, but they deliberately chose to do so when female customers were present, and the male staff member entered without any prior notice. This is not an "operational error," but I feel the operational decision itself is fundamentally flawed. For a public bathhouse, having a man enter a space where women are changing, even though it is not an urgent task, is a violation of privacy that should be avoided at all costs. Why would a man perform a task that could have been done when female staff were present, when there were customers? I simply cannot accept this. I considered writing a complaint because I would no longer be using the bath, but I decided to write a warning to prevent other women from having an unpleasant experience.

Sauna Ikitai 224 (September 19, 2024) ※An excellent facility worth visiting if you're in the area Founded in 1959, Tachibana Onsen, located near Hankyu Itami Station, was renovated in 2020. I visited at 6 PM on a weekday, and it was empty with only 7-8 people. I suspect the renovations include the sauna room, a three-way cold shower for the head, left and right sides, a freezing 13°C cold bath, and a large outdoor cold bath at around 25°C. I'm sure the owner is a sauna fan. The sauna room was around 92°C, with sauna stones on a stove. There was no auto-loyly, and self-bathing was difficult. The humidity was well-controlled, allowing for a thorough sweat. It was a single-level bath that could accommodate about six people, and had the atmosphere of a barrel sauna. I also tried the mist sauna. It was really hot, like a bedrock bath with high humidity added. It was so amazing I thought I might sweat more than I did in a sauna. The 13°C cold bath is ice-cold with soft water, but it's a shame it's only shallow and can only accommodate one person. However, the newly installed cold shower and cold bath are truly amazing. Afterwards, you can take a break in the open-air 25°C cold bath, where soft water flows like a waterfall. This routine might just be the best. As a public bath sauna in Hyogo Prefecture, this is of a very high standard. I'd like to stop by again if I'm in Itami.

The attendant was always smiling and lovely. I used the bath right after it opened. The bathtub floor tiles were green, the towels were dirty, and there were hairs and rags scattered on the floor. It felt a bit messy, but it was a nice, relaxing, low-cost experience, so I think it was worth it. Most of the customers seemed to be regulars, and the older ladies were always chatting with each other. They sometimes chatted with me, but they were all smiling. The open-air bath only had a cold bath. It would have been great if there was an open-air bath (hot water). Since the cold bath is in the inner bath, I don't think there's any need for an outside bath. The medicinal bath was quite hot, while the others were lukewarm. I felt there wasn't much rest space overall. It was raining, so it seemed empty, but it was nearly full right after opening. All the baths are small, so if it's crowded, it might be a little difficult to use. Hair dryers are not allowed inside, and you pay with a 10 yen coin for 3 minutes? 20 yen. There are two. Most people seemed to use the baths on a daily basis, so it seems to be a beloved shop that's firmly rooted in the lives of local people. I'll definitely stop by again.

I always use this hot spring! I usually go on my days off, but sometimes I go after work. The other day, I went again with my mother and enjoyed the hot springs. If you go to the open-air bath in the winter, it's so cold you'll freeze. 💦 It must be really nice in the summer! These days, I finish work at 10pm, but they say they're open, so I might use it then. 😌 The reception is staffed by moms, dads, and even grandmothers! Everyone is so kind, so I feel comfortable going alone! I'll definitely use this hot spring again in the future!
