太郎温泉

This is a great facility in Misawa City that also houses a hot spring and an inn. I used the bath for a day trip. It cost 370 yen per adult. There are 100 yen return coin lockers in the changing room. There are two bathtubs in the center, one hot and one lukewarm. The hot water on this day felt like about 43°C, and the lukewarm water was about 41°C. The free-flowing water had a slight salty taste. As is typical of a chloride spring, it warmed me up nicely and was refreshing after a bath. The sauna was a little cooler than other places, so I could stay in it for a long time. The cold water bath was just the right temperature. The bath was great.

Above all, the showers are the best!!! The more you go, the more comfortable it becomes! High-pressure, high-volume showers from the hot spring! Hot water! Ice-cold water baths! Flowing water! This is a hot spring that I would recommend especially to Edoites. 43-degree hot water and a perfectly cold water bath. A clean, odorless 80-degree sauna. The bath, changing room, and foot mat are all thoroughly cleaned. It's the perfect bath for those who love hot water. It's a rare hot water bath in the southern part of the prefecture. It's also very convenient that they're open until 11pm. It really helps you relax.

It's a piping hot free-flowing hot spring. It was bustling with people. The hot spring boasts a temperature of 47°C even in the middle of winter, and although water is added, it doesn't appear to be heated, circulated, or disinfected. There are two baths, one at high temperature and one at medium temperature, and the hot one felt really hot, at 43-44°C. It seems to be a culture in the Towada/Misawa area that many people leave things in the washing area, but this place seems better. I chose to visit here because the nearby Kizakino Onsen is closed due to the earthquake.

Very good onsen. Like most in the area, you need to bring your own soap and towels. They do sell some there if you need it. There are two main pools. One is very hot and the other is warm. They also have a very cold pool next to the sauna. Very worth the 320 yen (at the time of this post). If you like to go to onsens. Definitely a place to go.
