I visited "Temari no Yu" on July 3rd, 2025 (Thursday) at 1:30 PM. It's a relatively small and inexpensive hot spring located next to a roadside station. The water is treated as a sulfur spring, and it has 10 shower stalls indoors, an indoor bath (with jets and bubbles), a dry sauna, and a cold plunge pool. There's also an outdoor open-air bath and a relaxation area with benches and chairs. Despite its compact size, it's a perfectly adequate facility. Opening hours are 10 AM to 9 PM (closing 30 minutes before closing). The price is a very reasonable 500 yen for adults (300 yen after 5 PM), and payment is cash only. You leave your shoe locker key at the reception; shoe lockers, changing room lockers, and valuables lockers are all free. Amenities include body soap, shampoo, conditioner, a hairdryer, and a water dispenser. The soap is a commercial-grade product from Futaba Chemical. The spring water is a mild, hypotonic, weakly alkaline cold mineral spring with a simple sulfurous properties. It is colorless, transparent, and has a slightly salty, slightly sulfurous taste with a faint hydrogen sulfide odor. The water has a slight viscosity, and the temperature is 29.8℃, pH 8.2, with 807.6mg of dissolved substances, including 4.0mg of thiosulfate and 7.4mg of metaboric acid. Because the thiosulfate content meets the standard, it is classified as a therapeutic sulfur spring. The facility includes a dining area and, across a connecting corridor, several tatami rooms on the first floor where you can lie down, as well as a large tatami relaxation area with hammocks on the second floor. Even in the scorching heat outside, the air conditioning was very effective, allowing for a truly relaxing experience. Although I didn't eat this time, the menu seemed quite extensive, inexpensive, and delicious. Overall, it's clear that this is a popular hot spring facility. It seems to get extremely crowded after 5 PM, so it might be best to visit before then.

I was there but forgot to enter my name ⛑️🐱🐈⬛ I thought the person who is the symbol of the Kunikami roadside station was Ikkyu-san, but it seems that's not the case? ⛑️ Based on the historical background and the image of the anime, I imagined that temari = handball, so there was some kind of connection... but who is it?⁉️♨️Here's my review of the hot springs ⛑️You can bathe in Temari no Yu for just 500 yen (not 100 yen, as expected)❗️The water is just the kind of water old men like, and it's refreshing...I was also interested in the cold chopped soba noodles + chikuwa tempura at Kunikami Shokudo, but I was there after lunch, so next time... A return visit is a must. I made up my mind and headed home

This day spa in Tsubame is the only one that features a natural hot spring. Overall, it offers a great experience with the presence of beneficial minerals in the water, as well as an outdoor bath and a dry sauna. What's more, the entrance fee is only 300 yen after 17:00. However, the only downside is that due to its affordable price, it tends to be quite crowded. I would recommend visiting after 20:00, just before closing time, to avoid the crowds.

I came here for a bath for 500 yen. It's cheap. The hot spring water was colorless and had a chlorine-like smell. There is no free rest area. It's a shame. The bathtub is small.
