There's one bathtub, a reclining jet bath, an electric jet bath, a steam sauna, and no water balloons. It doesn't feel like a hot spring or a public bath, but rather a large, municipally run bath. 300 yen for city residents 600 yen for non-city residents If you live in the city, it might be worth going there. Since I'm a non-city resident, the receptionist didn't really make me feel welcome, like I was an outsider. I thought it was a learning experience, and it was a good experience. By the way, there were no shampoo or body soap amenities, but for some reason there were rental towels and a hair dryer. ( •̀ •́ゞ)!! I'm not sure if soaps are included when you rent a towel.

I'd been wanting to try it for a while, and finally took a bath on the first day of the New Year in 2026. It had a jet bath, an electric bath, an open-air bath, and a steam sauna, with the men's and women's baths alternating weekly, and it was quite nice. I'd like to visit again. You can also rest in the large hall after your bath. There is no dining area, and they only sell instant ramen, instant yakisoba, and snacks. I should also add that I had never seen a massage machine before, the "cradle course," and it was very comfortable (lol).

You can get there from Toride Station by Otone Kotsu bus or Toride City community bus. This is basically a place for elderly people to relax. There is a bathroom on the second floor. There is no body soap or shampoo, so you will need to bring your own or purchase them at reception. There is no restaurant or coffee shop, but cup noodles, bread, sweets, etc. are sold at the reception.

When I was drying my hair in the changing room, a strange lady told me not to dry it so quickly and to dry it properly, and threatened to have the facility manager come out. Even though it was a facility run by the city, I no longer wanted to go there after being told such a thing by a regular lady.

It's probably a good, inexpensive option for a place in the city. The baths are available from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The building is generally quite old. In addition to the public bath and steam bath, you can also use the small gym and rest area during the hours listed above.
