tower eleven onsen & sauna

I visited with a friend from outside Hokkaido because it's the world's first natural hot spring and sauna inside a baseball stadium. We chose a day when there were no games, so the admission fee was 2,500 yen and parking was free (apparently 4,000 yen on game days). The view...seriously amazing! It's breathtaking. Of course, you can't see the field from the bath, but you can see the display on the outfield seats, and there are TVs all around the bath, so it shouldn't be a problem. By the way, you can look down on the field from the chairs. The facility has a mixed bath and separate baths for men and women. You need a swimsuit to enter the mixed bathing area. If you don't have one, you can rent one for 1,000 yen, but it seems a little smaller than listed. There's a bar in front of the mixed bathing area, and on game days you can enjoy a drink while enjoying the bath, sauna, and watching the game! The sauna is only located in the mixed bathing area, which is quite elaborate. It's spacious and has three levels of self-louvering chairs. However, the angle of the chairs makes it difficult to see the field, so if you want to watch the game, it's best to stand in the standing area. There are lots of bats on display, and some balls have been casually mixed in with the sauna stones (surely they're real?). The temperature is quite hot at around 90-100 degrees on the upper level. Sauna enthusiasts will be satisfied. When I visited, it was empty, so I was able to enjoy a loyly without any hesitation. Of course, there is also an outdoor cold bath. Enjoy the view of the baseball stadium while relaxing in a chair! The natural hot spring can only accommodate about six people at most. There is no washing area in the mixed bathing area, so if you want to wash, you will need to use the indoor bath. The indoor bath has one washing area and one bathtub, and although there is a window, the view is not particularly good. The water temperature is around 40 degrees. The water is moor spring, which is common in the Ishikari Plain. To be precise, it is an alkaline simple hot spring, and due to the humus content, it has a brown moor spring color. It is unusually hot at the source, with a high temperature of just over 40 degrees. It is said to be good for skin. Of course, the water is circulated and disinfected. As an entertainment facility it's definitely a 5 star, but as a hot spring it's not a price that you can casually drop by, so I'll give it a 4. I know that as a facility, you can't get in for around 1000 yen though.

I really liked the quality of the hot spring water in the indoor bath, so I stayed there for quite a while. The stadium's interior was clearly visible from the indoor bath, so it was a refreshing experience to be able to relax in the hot spring while enjoying the images on the screen. However, the indoor hot spring bath and the bath in the swimsuit area are not particularly large, so on busy days it may be difficult to relax. (I went on the evening of New Year's Eve, so it was empty.) The sauna, while long and narrow, offers a spacious feel, allowing you to sweat comfortably. Cooling down while overlooking the stadium was a new experience, and it was also very interesting. At the snack and drink section, I ordered a craft beer brewed at the stadium and a spicy Chiki Chiki Bone, which went perfectly together. They also had a dessert-like menu that children could enjoy, considering the family-friendly atmosphere. I'd definitely like to return.

The price is a little high, but on non-match days it's not that expensive at a flat rate of 2500 yen. I've been back many times (and a few on match days) because the quality of the hot springs is simply amazing. After bathing, my skin feels incredibly smooth (lol). The sauna is also amazing, as even I, who had never been in one before, could tell, and you can experience its charm to the fullest by going back and forth between the top level in front of the stones and the cold bath (however, the rental swimsuits, even the LL size, are not that big and there are often not enough on match days, so I strongly recommend bringing your own). On match days, don't be stingy and get a ticket with a seat. Otherwise you won't be able to see much directly and will have to watch the game on the monitor the whole time outside the sauna (lol).

There's a hot spring at Escon Field! Mall Hot Spring It was 1,000 yen just for the indoor bath. I didn't use the sauna. You'll need a swimsuit to use the sauna. You can bring your own or rent one. I think it was 1,000 yen. Because it's a mall hot spring, it's slippery and smooth, and the temperature isn't too hot, so you can soak in it for a long time. The wash area is clean and has a luxurious feel. I didn't watch a game this time, but There's more to enjoy at Escon Field than just baseball. I can't imagine watching a baseball game completely naked, but it looks fun. You need a swimsuit or sauna suit to use the sauna, cold bath, viewing terrace, and eating area, but I heard you can also visit in full clothes. I'd like to visit the hot springs again.

Whenever I go to Hokkaido, I always visit this sauna! The sauna is heated to around 75-85°C, and since it's deep, there's no waiting in line. It also offers self-loyly, so it's perfect for those who want to enjoy the sauna in its fullest. Rental swimsuits are available for 1,000 yen, but it seems like S and M sizes tend to run out quickly for men, so I recommend bringing your own if you're worried about that. They also have a wide selection of drinks and light food, so this is a great place for sauna and baseball fans!
