Visited on November 25, 2025. This long-established public bathhouse, established in 1940 (before the war), was renovated into a building-style bathhouse in 2007. I was particularly impressed by the photo of the post-bath corner, filled with manga and figurines, featured in the "Tokyo Sento Pia MOOK." The exterior resembles a small hot spring inn behind Tachikawa's main street. The illuminated plum blossom logo is adorable. 🩷 As you enter the entrance, you'll be overwhelmed by rows of celebrity autographs and the spacious, Mount Fuji-printed shoeboxes that stretch farther back. The first-floor rest area leads to the second floor, where you'll find a staircase, landing, and even tables, chairs, and retro massage chairs, all offering relaxing manga reading. The impressive figurines and manga are beautifully arranged and beautifully displayed, making it a sight to behold! I couldn't help but reach for a manga even before I started bathing, lol. The women's bath on the second floor. The spacious tub features five jetted bathtubs, including shoulder and mid-range jets. The jets in the relaxation bath were so strong that they almost made my body float, and I wondered if I was supposed to relax by floating in the water. lol The smaller tub had an electric bath and a vibrating one. There was a cold bath just outside the sauna. The outdoor bath had a large natural stone bath and two Shigaraki-yaki earthenware jars. There were plenty of baths, and it was well-equipped.

It's great that you can combine your run with bathing and sauna use. There were also many autographed autographs from celebrities. First, pay for the bath (550 yen) and sauna (350 yen) at the ticket machine, then head to the changing room. Change into your running clothes, leave your key at reception again, and go for a run. When you return from your run, you can enjoy the bath and sauna. You can also read as many manga as you want, which is a great deal. The Rocky Sauna can accommodate 10 people if you sit neatly. There are two indoor and seven outdoor relaxation spaces. The cold bath is not that cold at 20 degrees. Rinse-in shampoo and body soap are provided in the bath area. There are about 18 washing areas, but the indoor bath is large enough for just under 10 people, and the open-air bath is large enough for just under 5 people. The changing room is also small considering the number of lockers, so it may be a bit difficult when it's crowded. The rest area after a bath isn't very large, so you can't really relax there. It's more of a place to read a bit of manga or have a drink before leaving. They sell a variety of drinks, including milk, cola, and beer, as well as snacks. They also sell amenities, so if you forget to bring your own, you're fine. Payment can be made not only with cash, but also with electronic payments like PayPay. If you avoid busy times, it's a great value and a great public bath.

If you want to move the chair, you have to lift your bottom each time, so it's a little annoying that it won't move even if you just want to move it a little. The bathhouse isn't large, so the bathtubs were almost full. Lockers were also crowded, making it difficult to get changed... ■Hot Springs/Price 550 yen The indoor baths offer a variety of baths, including jet baths and electric baths. It was labeled "radon bath," but I couldn't quite figure out what constituted radon baths. The temperature was around 42°C. The water felt mild. There's an open-air bath, but it was always full with about five people. It doesn't have a jet bath, so it's best for those who want a more relaxing bath. There weren't many types of baths, so I don't understand why it's so popular. It was clean. I like that it's clean and doesn't have a Showa-era feel.

Shampoo and body soap are provided. Rental towels are also available, so you can come empty-handed. Tachikawa is home to many food vendors and tattoos are not prohibited, so there are quite a few people with tattoos on their arms or backs, but they are not intimidating, so there is nothing to be concerned about. Manga is available on the first and second floors. Due to space constraints, it seems that the latest volumes are limited, but there are many manga that are no longer available, so some people come just for that purpose. It is also possible to repeat the cycle of bath → manga → bath. Tickets to B League games (Tachikawa Dice) are available, so it is a good deal.
