Ureshinogensen Hyakunen Hot Spring

We booked a family bath with sauna in advance and also paid online! Parking was available right in front of the entrance and the staff was super friendly and explained us some some things about the onsen in japanese. They showed us to the family bath and provided us with towels. The room itself was well maintained and clean. There was a little fridge for drinks to stay cold as well as glasses for water that was provided in a pitcher in the room. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were provided as well as a collagen peeling and facial cleansing milk. We also had a hair dryer in the room. The bath water in the wooden tub was the hot onsen water while the ceramic bath contained cold water for after the private sauna in the room. I'd say the sauna fits 1 person at a time and has a little sand timer to make sure you don't overdo it. Overall it was a great experience and we are very grateful for the friendly and welcoming staff and beautiful atmosphere!

One of Japan's three most beautiful skin-beautifying hot springs. It uses water from a hot spring with a century of tradition, and is said to be the only public bath in Ureshino with its own hot spring source. It cost 480 yen with the JAF discount. It has a pleasant sulfur smell. The hot water is about 41 degrees Celsius, I think. It was available between 7pm and 8pm. I found something called Tea Onsen Yu Tofu in the restaurant, so I tried it. It's infused with Ureshino tea, and is dipped in a sweet sauce. The aroma of tea and the soft, melt-in-your-mouth tofu were delicious. My body was warm even before I got in the bath.

This "beautiful skin bath" is one of the finest and top-class in the country. The thick, smooth feeling is irresistible. It uses its own hot spring source. Your skin will remain smooth not only during bathing but also after bathing. In addition to the baking soda component, it also contains a high proportion of metasilicic acid. The water is fresh, with a large amount of new water added. The bathtub is spacious and very relaxing. Compared to nearby hot spring facilities, it is a relatively hidden gem and not too crowded. The interior of the facility is a bit old and has a local atmosphere.

Excellent service. Incredible onsen water leaving your skin smooth.. probably the best onsen in town. Affordable yet fantastic. Highly recommended

The place is old, staff is old too but such a niece piece of onsen and great service!!
