■Date I went on Sunday, February 9, 2025. I arrived at 10:30 AM. ■Access It's about 2.2 kilometers from Ryuo Station. It's about a 30-minute walk. I always rent a bicycle at Isawa Onsen Station when I visit Kofu, so I headed there by bike. ■Crowdness There were about five men in the hot spring. There were lockers with locks and a clothes basket. I put my backpack in the locker and my clothes in the basket. ■Hot Spring/Price Alkaline Simple Hot Spring / ¥700 ・Water Temperature: 36.6°C ・Flow: 414 liters ・pH: 8.1 Although it's a simple hot spring, it contains about 900 mg of dissolved gases. Therefore, I think it's closer to a bicarbonate-chloride hot spring. It's alkaline and gentle on the skin. It also contains 110 mg of metasilicic acid, which is expected to have skin-beautifying effects. There is one open-air bath and one indoor bath. The indoor bath is large, and the dark brown tiles create a calming atmosphere. Hot water gushes out. When you enter the hot spring, it is the same temperature as body temperature or slightly higher. The hot spring smells slightly of sulfur and iron. It feels slimy to the touch, and countless puffy bubbles cling to your skin. I think the hot spring is very fresh. I tried drinking some of the hot spring water, and I could taste the iron and sulfur. There are about five washing areas. The water is very hot at the washing areas. Because the water is low temperature, you can soak for a very long time. Once you get in, you won't want to get out. You can easily stay in for 30 minutes. It is a little chilly after you get out of the bath, however. The changing room was heated. It was winter, so I didn't use the open-air bath, which was too cold. ■ Amenities Shampoo and body soap: Available Hair dryer: Available (1) Lotion etc.: Not Available Other: Not Available ■ Overall You can soak in the hot spring for a long time, which is very relaxing. I was surprised to see countless bubbles on my body. It left my skin feeling so smooth. Kofu is amazing to have such fresh hot spring water in such an urban area. I've visited many other hot springs, but this one was the one that impressed me the most. The hot spring water is low, so it might be a bit cold on extremely cold days, but I went on a day when the outside temperature was around 5°C and enjoyed a relaxing soak, so I recommend it even in winter.

I stopped by on my way back from Shosenkyo Gorge. It was just before 6pm on a Friday and there was only one other customer. As of November 15, 2024, the prices are as follows: Drop-in bathing (3 hours) is 700 yen. Day-trip bathing (9am-5pm) is 1300 yen. Private rooms are available for rent for an additional fee. It's right in the middle of a residential area, so it can be difficult to find your way. If you're using your navigation system from the 7-Eleven along the national highway, you'll probably be told to turn right at Kushitei Fukuyoshi, but go straight (it's a road behind the hot spring, so you won't get there). Turn right at the end and you'll see the sign. The hot spring is directly sourced. When I got in, there was a faint smell of sulfur, and the water also smelled of iron. It flows at a steady rate of 686 liters per minute. There are indoor and outdoor baths. There are five washing areas in the indoor bath (as of November 15, 2024, one was out of order, so there were actually four). Shampoo and body soap were provided. The water was lukewarm at around 37°C and wasn't heated, so it was a bit cold at night (November 15, 2024). It was carbonated, so it was warm after a long soak in the indoor bath. In summer, it might feel nice to stay in the bath endlessly.

Yamaguchi Onsen Free-flowing spring water, no water added or heated Brownish, iron smell, ph8. It says it's a carbonated spring, but I don't really know what the carbonation tastes like Good spring quality (I personally think it's similar to the nearby Ryuo Radon Onsen) The spring water is only about 37°C, so you can take a long soak in a lukewarm bath *There's an adult bath and an entrance, so it might be difficult to go with your family Drinkable spring water, you can take it home in a plastic bottle, I think there's a lot of water Indoor bath: 1 medium size, outdoor bath: 1 medium size (The spring water temperature is low, so it's quite cold in winter, but it's more suitable for summer) Amenities▲ Shampoo, body soap No sauna, no dining Usage: 700 yen, until 20:00, but on the day I went it was until 19:30, so check Access: A little way in from Route 20, but it's a fairly narrow road and in a completely residential area. The legend goes that the water started flowing when the vineyards were dug up, so it's probably hard to find for non-locals without a navigation system. It's a facility that has a Showa-era feel, but I think the spring quality is good.

I visited this hot spring in the summer to take a bath. The quality of the spring water is simply amazing. There is a generous amount of free-flowing water, and the water temperature, slightly lower than body temperature, is also appealing. It reminded me of Shimobe Onsen G Senkan. I soaked for about an hour, and my body was covered in bubbles and felt smooth. I was also overcome by the drowsiness that is unique to low-temperature hot springs, and it was very relaxing. It was a shame that the open-air bath was not open, and it would have been nice if there was at least one hot bath. They also had Kyoho grapes for sale, a bargain at 300 yen. I ate some chilled when I got home and they were super sweet and delicious. I had bought some elsewhere for over three times the price, but this one was even better.

March 28, 2025 (Fri) First visit I went on a Friday afternoon, so it wasn't crowded. I took a bus from Kofu Station and got off at the Enoki-kyoku-mae bus stop. It's about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. The bathing fee is 700 yen. The water is lukewarm, but if you stay in for a while, your body gradually warms up. I think it's the effect of the carbonated spring. Fresh hot spring water gushes out from the spout. The open-air bath is closed because the amount of spring water gushing out has decreased. What a shame 😟 Drinking the spring water is possible, and there are cups placed at the spout. It has an iron-containing taste and doesn't have the characteristic fizz of carbonated water. There are plastic bottles for taking the water home, so I filled one up and took it with me.
