⸻ Method used👇 [Day Trip Hot Spring & Barrel Sauna] *All prices include tax, per person ・Day Trip Bathing: ¥800 (face towel included) ・Private Barrel Sauna (90 minutes): ¥3,300 ・Swimsuit Rental: ¥300 ・Free use of the rest lounge ・Mini Golf ⸻ Thoughts • Put on your swimsuit, put on the green poncho provided, and head to the outdoor sauna🚶 This poncho is so cute, it got me excited🫠 • The barrel-shaped sauna had a rich woody scent, and the self-louver steam was gentle. It was over 100°C, the hottest I've ever been to! lol ・Apples, a symbol of Okukuji, floated in the cold bath🍎 Cool off in the open-air bath while enjoying the sound of the river and the greenery. It's a completely private space, so conversations flowed freely...! It really helped me to let go of the stress of everyday life ◎ ・The hot spring in the hotel was filled with tons of Okukuji apples floating in it 🍎 It was my first time trying an apple bath ☺️✨ It's only available this fall, so be sure to check it out! • The staff are friendly, and it's nice to be able to lounge around on the tatami space in the rest area. • If you stay overnight, you can enjoy kaiseki cuisine featuring local sweetfish and Okukuji shamo (gamefish). I used the nearby DAIGO Auto Campground this time! • A wonderful spot to reset in the hot springs and sauna while surrounded by Daigo's nature ♨️ Please give it a try! #sauna #saunagirl #privatesauna #saunaactivity #barrelsauna #IbarakiHotSprings #daytriphospitality #hotspringgirlstrip

I stayed on Friday, November 28, 2025. I took a bus from Hitachi-Daigo Station. I got off at Center Yamizo, and the facility was right in front of me. The young front desk staff were very helpful. The reviews for the food were good, but honestly, it wasn't that great. I went to the restaurant at the designated time and sat down. I had high expectations because it was a Hitachi beef sukiyaki plan, but it never cooked. I left without eating. Therefore, I have no comment on the taste. The clientele that day was unfortunate; I couldn't sleep because of karaoke and chatting in the rooms until late at night. It felt like the Showa era. Perhaps the karaoke had a sound-amplifying effect? There were also some noisy elderly people in the hallway. It's not the facility's fault. Breakfast was in the restaurant. Free drinks were nice, but the iced coffee on the menu wasn't available. I understand it might be due to the season, but it would have been better if they had written that it wasn't available. In conclusion, it wasn't worth the money. Despite having a plan where I could choose my main dish, they welcomed me without any preparation and showed no consideration whatsoever. The next day, even though I was waiting in line at the front desk, the older employees were just chatting amongst themselves and wouldn't help me. I had no choice but to call a younger person to settle my bill. Thank you very much. I will never go there again.

This is my second stay here. The manager, counter staff, and dining room staff are all lovely and easy to talk to. The meals at night and in the morning are filling, so you're sure to be full! You can play grand golf and table tennis, and even try badminton or climbing in the gymnasium, which is hot (it can be tough in summer). There aren't many facilities around the hotel, but you can relax in the quiet environment and hear the sound of the river! In the summer, there are lots of swallows flying around, and you can even see their chicks. The hot spring is spacious and has a sauna. This is a wonderful hotel.

I'm a repeat customer. The reception and cleaning staff are both extremely welcoming. The two female staff members in the dining area are particularly wonderful, and I really appreciate their thoughtfulness in asking if I wanted more rice. (I'm a big eater, so it was really helpful that the staff asked me.) The atmosphere is comfortable and the food is excellent!! The value for money is also great, so I have no complaints. With the current price and content, I plan to be a repeat customer for a long time to come.

In short, my husband and I are proud of this hotel and love it. The manager, assistant manager, and staff from each department all greet us with friendly smiles. We aim to return to this hotel every month. This time, we visited with our two grandchildren and their wives, and it was our first time playing grand golf, and we got hooked. We're looking forward to our next visit. We'll do our best starting tomorrow!
