Yasuda Onsen Yasuragi

I used the day spa and rock sauna. I used Asoview and paid in advance online with PayPay (there's a small discount). This was my first time. The usual procedure is to get a rock sauna outfit at the front desk, bathe, and then go to the rock sauna. I thought it would help me sweat more. Or so I thought... First, I received a key and towel for the first-floor hot spring at the front desk. After bathing, I put on my clothes, then went back to the front desk, returned the hot spring locker key, and went to the rock sauna reception on the second floor, where I received my rock sauna outfit, towel, wooden tag, and mineral water. I went to the back of the second floor and found a changing room and a large bath. The bath is separate from the rock sauna room. I took off my clothes, put on my rock sauna outfit, and went to the rock sauna. The rock sauna is available for 90 minutes. When I was done, I changed back into my clothes, went to the front desk, returned the rock sauna wooden tag, returned the rock sauna outfit, and towel (putting them in the laundry basket?). I then went back to the hot spring reception and received another key for the hot spring locker, and enjoyed the hot spring. The hot springs and the stone sauna are great, but it's a pain! 💦 Getting and returning keys, taking off and putting on your clothes... Basically, it's best to think of the hot springs and the stone sauna as separate things. For example, if you're going to the stone sauna today, you can just use the stone sauna on the second floor. The bath is in the changing room, so you can take a bath before using the stone sauna and then finish with the stone sauna. Today, you're going to the hot springs. You can just enjoy the hot springs without going up to the second floor. If you have time, it's better to use the hot springs and the stone sauna, enjoy the stone sauna on the second floor first, and then go back to the hot spring after! Since it was my first time, I had to go back and forth to the front desk multiple times... which is a bit unusual. It's a pain (not an insult). I've been to many stone saunas in various prefectures, but this was my first time at a place like this. However, the stone sauna is wonderful, using rare and precious materials like Beitou stone. The hot springs include a jet bath, a reclining bath, an open-air bath, and a sauna. If you have time, you can spend the whole day there. I didn't eat here, but I'd definitely like to return. It was around lunchtime on a weekday, so there weren't many people and I was able to enjoy it at my own pace! It seems to be more popular with older people than with younger people, but I think it's a wonderful facility with a nostalgic feel. The result was great!!
I stopped by on my stroll along Yasuda Kawara Road. I think I've already visited a couple of times, but it's gradually become more geared towards the general public, and they have an excellent balance between reducing labor costs with vending machines and automatic ticket machines and selling fruits and vegetables in front of the store. As a day spa, it's not flashy, but I think it's the best. For food, I'll only choose Zaru Soba if it's available, but the menu is extensive and everything I've seen other people eating there looks delicious. As for my food review, the noodles are firm, the dipping sauce is just the right amount, and the flavor is strong. I also had a small bowl of grated yam (thanks). The water was generally lukewarm (around 40 degrees). The shower, with its good pressure, seems good for a scalp massage. After bathing, I took a short nap in the napping area before leaving. Finally, a smoking area is a must for a good spa.
This hot spring facility has a retro Showa-era feel. The open-air bath is very spacious. There's also a sauna. The rest area is also spacious and relaxing. You can relax alone or with a group. There's a shop and a restaurant, so you'll have no trouble finding food and drink. The salmon farmed here is famous. You can enjoy fresh, chewy salmon. Please give it a try! 😊 They also perform popular theater, so if you're interested, why not go see a play, take a bath, and enjoy the day. It's also fun to try and find your favorite actor. 🥰
The building is a little old, but the hot spring water is pleasantly warm, and I was able to soak for a long time without feeling unwell. I thought it was a very good hot spring. Despite the low price of 900 yen, it also has a sauna and a cold plunge pool, and I would like to use it again. It seems to be a facility where you can also stay overnight.
The guest rooms were spotlessly clean and impeccable, even giving off the atmosphere of a luxury inn. The bath and sauna were spacious and relaxing. On the other hand, the portions for dinner were small, so we had to top up, but the flavors were all inconsistent and disappointing. Breakfast was delicious, so perhaps it depends on the chef.
