Yudai Hot Spring

Disappointing. The hot springs were disappointing. One large bath One open-air bath One sauna Lockers in the changing rooms were poorly maintained. Some lockers had keys that wouldn't come out, forcing me to move them after undressing. The changing room and bathroom entrance doors are sliding doors, which is good, but they're heavy. I wish they were at least semi-automatic. Only the on-site restaurant accepts barcode payments on the key you're given. The massage machines and vending machines on the premises accept coins, so you have to carry cash with you. I wish they'd at least accept barcode payments. Basically, it's a more luxurious version of a golf course bath. Is this really Nifty Onsen? Number one overall in Shizuoka? Is it organized voting? I don't think it deserves to be ranked number one. The food at the restaurant is certainly reasonable. The rest area has a wide variety of dishes. The service isn't bad either. If you're lucky, you can see Mt. Fuji from the rooftop. There is no foot bath in winter. Overall, It's difficult to use in many ways. I won't be returning. I don't recommend. Thank you.

The hot spring was simply equipped with one indoor and one outdoor bath, plus a sauna and a small cold water bath. While relatively small and unremarkable, the temperature was just right and I enjoyed my time there. The rest area was spacious and had a variety of different styles. The manga selection was centered around popular titles, including the latest issues. There wasn't much variety in the magazines. It was nice to be able to relax and read. There was also a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji from the parking lot. One disappointment was that they were handing out carbonated water (for washing hair) at the washing area for an event, but I didn't know how to use it, so when I asked, they said, "There are instructions posted in the changing room, so please take a look." Considering the hassle of having to go back all the way there wet, I decided not to take it. It would have been nice if they'd had a system where you could learn how to use it on the spot. The comfortable rest area and reasonable prices made me want to return.

I came here for lunch while sightseeing in Mishima. I was a little surprised to find out that admission was timed. I was able to get in after two hours. ■Dining Room I think it's reasonably priced these days. The menu is extensive. There's plenty of sofa seating. The food is average. It feels like a family restaurant. ■Bath It's quite small, with just one indoor and outdoor bath. All you can see from the outdoor bath is the sky. You can't see Mt. Fuji from the bath... The water is fine...there aren't many food or drink options left. ■Rest Area They have manga, like a manga cafe. There are sofas and individual seats, so it might be nice to relax in. But there's a time limit, so I guess you could just take one manga. ■Footbath Located on the rooftop, it combines a small table with a footbath. You can see Mt. Fuji in the distance. It's tough in the winter. It's next to a golf course, so I imagined it would be like a super sento, but it's actually more like a local sento.

The hot spring water quality is excellent! It was well worth the research. As for the dining area, I was surprised to find only cold water available! I wish they'd at least provide a tea dispenser. It was my first experience at a hot spring facility. Also, I went to the smoking area several times, but no matter how many times I went, it was never cleaned (tidyed up), and there were mountains of cigarette butts everywhere. Are they short on staff? I think the facility would be even better if they paid more attention to the details. It's such a shame! I wish them continued success.

I went for a drive and took a morning bath. It's next to a golf course so there's a large parking lot. The hot spring itself is small, but in return you can enjoy the beautiful view of Mt. Fuji while bathing in the open-air bath. The sauna is relatively small and could only fit about 6 people. I wouldn't recommend it for people who want to bathe in various hot springs. Also, boiled eggs and coffee were free, but only available in the morning bath. The photo shows Mt. Fuji from the parking lot. You can see this from the open-air bath.
