Sea Otter chains are sadly disappearing all over the country🦦 What's the power of Sea Otter's headquarters, which enjoys overwhelming support from sauna enthusiasts nationwide?! I suddenly had a craving for a rich, chinpiri bath and sulfur spring, so I returned to SKC for the first time in over five years🦦 The free shuttle bus from Shin-Koshigaya Station is a blessing for those living along the Musashino Line! 🚌 Since it was a weekday morning, the average age on the bus was unusually high lol. There were about 10 people on board, but Saucole might have been the only non-elderly people on the bus lol. We arrived at SKC around 9:30 AM 🚌 I was determined to get the first squeeze of the medicinal bath, so I was glad to be able to get there early ☺️ The queue inside the building was set up like this: bags lined up every 1 meter lol. While the older generation around me took to the benches, Saucole dutifully stood in the backpack line lol. Looking around the building again, it looks so different from five years ago! There's a lot of merchandise packed in, and the amount of information is overwhelming, making it chaotic lol. It's open now, so I easily made it to the bathroom first, and it's time for some chinpiri!! 🌶️ [Dry Sauna] 5m wide, 9m deep, 320cm high The seats are three-tiered, with a urethane mat underneath the sauna mat for comfort. The heat sources are a triple combination of iki stove, far-infrared gas, and stone convection! The humidity is quite high, so even sitting on the lower level packs a punch! The kickboard rack at the entrance to the sauna room has a shower directly on it, and an automatic cleaning system has been established. 🚿 [Cold Bath] 2.5m wide, 2.5-2m deep, 65cm deep There's a central vibrator for good circulation! There's a TV overhead! The sauna room has a large capacity, so you might have to wait for the cold bath when it's busy. Perhaps they could convert it into a standing super jet or a cooling bath? [Spa Center] The open-air space in front of the sauna room has also been expanded, but it's now a new open-air bathing space, so they've completely remodeled the area that was formerly in front of the stairs! The theme-park-style smoke-filled space can accommodate more than 15 people! The only drawback is that the walls are a little low, so anyone over 2 meters tall can see right in from the outside. [Bath] It goes without saying that the three sacred treasures of the bath—chinpiri, sulfur, and carbonated water—are still in high quality! The various vibrations are set to a warm temperature, which is irresistible for sauna lovers! The electric bath has three settings, and it's a little strong! The left side of the super jet is still out of order!? The special bath is the Melano CC bath, and they're using Egashira as a poster boy to promote it lol. The changing room is impressive, with a full set of Melano CC products, including lotion and ointment! [Waiting Room] The second floor requires a 350 yen charge if you wear the bath's indoor wear. I'll take a closer look next time I have time! Hikakin fans generally relax in the area with the gacha machine in front of the lobby, but you can also relax in the cafeteria after a sauna meal! Overall, the quality is so good that it's no wonder it's become a mecca for sauna lovers! Not only is it home to the rare, nationwide Chinpiri-yu bath, but it also has rich sulfur springs, carbonated springs, and an absolutely fantastic sauna environment... It's nothing short of a mecca!! I've been busy lately and haven't had much time to go for a sauna break, but my passion has finally returned! 😭 It's only a little over 200 yen by train from my house, so I'd like to keep coming back here whenever I'm tired. 🤤

I visited the Soka Health Center, a sauna mecca, on a Saturday. The parking lot is right in front, free, and spacious, so it can accommodate a large number of cars. The interior of the facility has a Showa-era feel, and the large dining hall has a casual feel. The washing area is on the left as you enter the bath, and it's open-plan. Body towels and toothbrushes are located near the entrance to the washing area. The indoor baths offer carbonated spring water (very weakly carbonated), herbal bath water (which tingles during bathing and seems to be effective), hot water, and bubble bath. The open-air bath offers a milky white bath, a cold bath, and a Maifan stone sauna. The sauna has a TV and is reasonably spacious. It's covered with a yellow mat, giving it a Showa-era feel. The slightly hotter water made me sweat gradually, which felt great. Afterwards, I was able to relax in the open air. There were some children there, but they were all well-behaved. The baths are generally old and each one is small, so I imagine it would be quite a hassle when it's crowded. I was surprised when I left to see three people waiting in line for a shoe locker! For 1,300 yen and this level of quality, I think the prettier Ryusenji-style baths would be better.

As a "sauna mecca," it's incredibly popular. When I arrived shortly after opening, there were over 50 people lined up at reception! All the way up the stairs. As a health center, the medicinal baths have a wonderful aroma, and the sauna offers a loyly service at incredibly long intervals, and it's incredibly hot! It was the No. 1 sauna overall! The eat-in area is quite spacious, and the popular Tomato Sanratanmen is quite generous in portion, but the taste is decent! The medicinal bath base that you get as a souvenir is very fragrant, but you might need a few to enjoy it together. Free bus available from Soka Station Free parking available

February 1, 2026 This was my first time here! The sauna is absolutely numbing! It was so hot I was blown away. There were plastic bags in the locker room, and razors, toothbrushes, and nylon body towels were provided in the bathroom. There was a large cooler filled with ice, and everyone kept their drink bottles chilled. There were services here and there that you don't often see elsewhere!

Showa era public bath. Super hot sauna and pretty cold bath to dip in afterwards. They have a sulphur bath and a medicated one as well. Only drawback is it really busy on weekends.
