I thought there was water in the boat, but it turned out to be a hot spring! And bathing is free. I put my hand in the water and it left my skin feeling smooth. Apparently it's often used by beachgoers in the summer.

The Funa Onsen is managed by the beach house above. However, you can enter for free even if you don't use the beach house. It gets quite hot when the sun is shining.

I visited on April 29th while touring Kyushu. I was looking forward to it, but unfortunately there was no hot water. Is it only available during swimming season?

June 22, 2019: There was hot spring water in the bathtub. Maybe it's only available on weekends at this time of year. A nice bathtub

When there was a hospital in Yunoko and I was hospitalized for rehabilitation, I used to come here to swim on Sundays (^^♪
