I used to frequent this day-trip hot spring. Even back then, it was a bit pricey at 800 yen, but it was in a reasonably convenient location, so I'd use it when I wanted to treat myself. However, when I went again recently after a long time, the price had increased to 990 yen, and the shampoo and body soap were now in small packets, which didn't make me very happy. The service was also less friendly than before, and the building felt dark, perhaps due to energy-saving measures. The satisfaction level for the price is quite low. Having used it so many times, this deterioration is saddening. You can see the Yuu River from the open-air bath, but it's not a particularly beautiful river, so I don't think it's worth it. It's a shame, but goodbye.

This is an old hot spring inn located along the Yugawa River. The atmosphere isn't bad, but the bathing fee is quite pricey. It costs 990 yen for adults and includes shampoo and body wash. Contrary to its appearance, the baths are clean. There is an indoor bath, a cold bath, a semi-open-air bath, and a sauna, so the facilities themselves are not bad. The only problem, as other reviews have mentioned, is that although tattoos are prohibited, there were several people there with full body tattoos. Judging from their conversation, they seemed to be regulars. The staff probably turned a blind eye. If you don't mind that, I would recommend this hot spring. I also highly recommend this hot spring for people with tattoos.

Visited for a Yamakatsu event. This hot spring facility is nestled in the mountains. The water is clear, colorless, and odorless, making it gentle on the skin. From the large bath, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the valley below, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery. There's also a sauna and a hot stone bath, allowing you to thoroughly sweat it out. However, there's an additional charge for the hot stone bath, and men can only use it if accompanied by a woman. There's also a restaurant on-site, so you can enjoy a meal after your bath. It seems to be frequented by many locals, who are friendly and willing to chat with you.

A quaint onsen hotel with a rock spa. The onsen is unlimited usage and you can stay as long as you want. We did not stay overnight but the onsen is separated with male and female. The best part is the rock spa which is for anyone but is limited to 60mins. The best onsen is the onsen that is also outside. This is best during the winter time . Perfect temperature if you are new to onsens
