AQUAFIELD Goyang
This is a really nice and fancy jimjilbang, we had a great time here!! It was definitely daunting at the start since it was our first visit to a jimjilbang but let me break it down here so that you know what to expect. When you go in, they will pass you a key that you can tie onto your wrist (this is the key to your shoe locker and clothing locker; yes they are separated). You will need to remove your shoes and put them in the shoe locker first. Afterwards, you will find yourself in the clothing locker. At this point, you are supposed to take a shower before entering the pool. You will strip down here at the locker area (gender-segregated) before heading to the shower region (which is just beside the wet sauna area). They provide shampoo, soap and conditioner so you don’t need to bring any. The towel that they provide is quite small so I would recommend bringing your own towel so that you can wrap yourself while walking to the shower area (if you’re shy). We spent about an hour exploring the different pools in the wet sauna area. I liked that the pools and shower region were dimly lit (I’m shy). You can also get a body scrub/massage at the shower region if you want. Afterwards, you can rinse yourself again before changing into your jimjil clothing (provided by the facility). You will then find yourself in another huge area with different dry saunas, massage chairs, outdoor foot spa and also the cafeteria. We spent another 2-3 hours here exploring different rooms (almost fell asleep cuz that was how peaceful and relaxing it was) and then went for dinner at the cafeteria. Everything can be paid with the wristband that they have given you at the start. You will then do the payment at the end. After all the sweating, we took another shower and changed into fresh clothes. They also have a powder room… filled with fancy moisturizer and hair oil, along with hair dryer. This is an extremely long post but I hope this helped!! If you’re in Korea and have 5-6 hours to spare, it is definitely an experience that you won’t want to miss!!
(August 2025) We spent a jjimjilbang day at Aquafield Goyang, booked via the Klook app. The Aquafield Goyang Poultice Spa pass was ₩21,500 per person for 6 hours, and we stayed about 5 hours. Honestly, time passes really fast because there’s so many rooms to try and spaces to rest. The sauna area is very comfortable and beginner-friendly. Most sauna rooms have pillows where you can lie down if they’re not taken. If they are, you can still sit against the wall comfortably. The overall environment feels very clean, quiet, and relaxing. It's a good place to unwind at a slow pace. There are multiple themed sauna rooms like the salt room, charcoal room, ocher room, and the hot 80°C room. Each room gives a slightly different heat and atmosphere, so it doesn’t feel boring rotating between them. There’s also a relax room with air-conditioning and super comfy sponge-like sofa chairs, perfect for cooling down between sauna rounds. It’s a great place if you like to steam, sweat, and relax at your own pace. We even ended up taking naps and feasting at Aquafield Goyang, that’s how comfortable it was 🥺🥤 — Sikhye ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Boiled eggs ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pizza Pork Cutlet ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Was a nice and relaxing experience, however the number of rooms was limited compared to other spas in Korea I had been to for a similar price. The spa offers a spa uniform to wear in public areas - the mix gender spa area with the steam rooms. These were very comfortable. Towels were provided. Everything while in the spa was charged on the locker key and is settled on checkout. The single sex spa areas are all completely nude, but is a very respectful and normalised environment. So, as someone who is not from a culture in which public nudity is commonplace, it was an extremely comfortable and relaxing experience. One downside to this spa, if you are looking for a completely zen experience is that it is full of children screaming and running around. While, I personally was not bothered by this for the most part, there were moments when I was wanting peace and serenity but this was not possible. I went on the weekend which was an incredibly busy time. A lot of the rooms were full or near full and the spa was quite crowded.

Came here for a local jimjilbang experience and was pleasantly surprised- Aquafield offers quality relaxation at an affordable price. We bought our tickets on klook beforehand which will be cheaper than purchasing on the spot. The space is spacious, clean and relaxing. There are many types of spa room in the jimjilbang for you to try- would recommend trying the spa room in ascending order of heat level to prepare your body to adapt to the heat. The relaxation room was nice as well as you can watch shows or scroll on your phone in a lounge-like chair. In the respective getting ready area, they have public sauna as well.
