Bugok Oncheon

The place I went to was the Rainbow Hotel. The entire area was packed with the same facilities. It felt the same no matter where I went, lol. Maybe because it was school break, but even on a weekday, the kids' room was almost fully booked, so I had no choice but to use a slightly oversized room. It was a bit pricey for the facilities, but if I were to bring a large family, I'd definitely stay here again. The size and satisfaction were fantastic. There were three large beds on the first floor and another large bed on the upper floor, so the kids could have fun. The family bath was half the size of a local public bathhouse. It was so big that I wanted to bring my parents and my younger sibling's family next time. It was just a local motel with a large bathhouse and a hot spring! Cooking wasn't allowed, but there were plenty of restaurants nearby, and there was even a place to get jjambbong (spicy seafood noodle soup). We had a warm and enjoyable time.

The hot spring water is clear and clean, with temperatures reaching 70 degrees Celsius. While the facilities are comparable to those of a neighborhood bathhouse, there are many clean ones if you look carefully. Bathing fees are typically 5,000 won, though you can occasionally find baths for 4,000 won. Hotel bathhouses are a bit pricey at 5,000 won. They're quiet in the summer, but crowded in the winter.

You can visit the Bugok Renaissance Hall at the entrance to Bugok Hot Springs, or enjoy the cherry blossoms and soak in the refreshing Bugok Hot Springs to relieve your fatigue and smooth your skin. You will probably come back again just for Bugok Hot Springs.

I took a bath at the Hansung Hotel Sauna. Because of the coronavirus, I mistook it for a private sauna and came back after a long rest. The friendly owner's greeting brought a smile to my face for the first time in a long time. It was a wonderful day.

It's catastrophic; the springs don't even exist anymore. All the hotels are dilapidated, the town is deserted. We searched for the hot springs for a very long time and asked the locals where they were, but found nothing. The other reviews are false.
