Solgi Hot Springs is renowned for its excellent water quality, attracting high levels of satisfaction from visitors. The fluoride spring water, derived from underground, is smooth and leaves skin feeling silky smooth, without the need for lotion after bathing. However, the facilities themselves are somewhat similar to a local bathhouse, with an old, retro feel, which may disappoint those expecting cleanliness and modern amenities. It's a great place to relax after a tour of Juwangsan National Park, and guests staying at Solgi Hot Springs Hotel can enjoy the hot springs at a 30% discount. The hot spring water is also conveniently available in the guest rooms. While the water itself is nationally recognized, the accommodations are very, very lacking. The facilities are in dire need of renovation. Incidentally, this hotel is highly recommended for those interested in skin care.

This hot spring water, which has received the energy of pine trees, can cure various diseases. Both the cold and hot springs are natural hot spring water. Local residents pay 7,000 won, hotel guests also receive a discount, and outsiders pay 9,000 won. The fee is also low, and there are massage services, shoe shine services, etc. inside.

It is a high quality hot spring sauna with many different baths and 2 hot rooms. High quality facilities and I used a 50% off coupon so it was only ₩10,000. It was clean and not crowded when I got there at 8 am on a Friday morning.

I stopped by on my way to Yeongdeok after watching a YouTube video. It's currently the best hot spring in Korea, and it's the standard. The facilities are like a local bathhouse.

The hot spring water is smooth and alkaline, made of sodium bicarbonate, so it is good for moisturizing the skin after bathing and leaves you feeling very refreshed.
