Damyang Bamboo Park

No choice as there is no Google maps - now trying Naver - no good English - no support. Adjust to English speaking tourist, anything you seem to have is so far terrible as we miss a lot of the best and we don‘t even know why. We follow your app sequence but tha one sucks it seems. We struggle because worldwide we u see Google Maps and here we must forget it - and we have to download a much inferior Naver or the other App which are very confusing and made us miss some very important locations and we would have to trip back one full day for it. Not what I expected. Indeed. So simple request: don‘t bully what consumers want and get you local companies to accept or better, improve your competitors offer. If you don't - follow Nokia into deluge. Just saying. 🤷🏻♂️

If you're visiting to stroll through a bamboo forest or simply enjoy nature, there are a few things to be desired, but if you're looking to spread out a mat with your family, have a packed lunch, and let the kids run around, it's a great place to visit. The lack of people is surprisingly pleasant, and the lawn is lovely. The owner even said that as long as you don't cook, you can bring a shade tent and food to eat and run around. The kids want to come back. But...there are a few mosquitoes, so definitely bring repellent!

There were hardly any people, so I was able to take a leisurely walk. For the first time in my life, I saw a woodpecker pecking at a tree. I liked the sound of the leaves rustling in the wind and the scent of the forest. The only downside is that there are too many mosquitoes. It would be good to bring something like mosquito repellent or visit during a time when mosquitoes are not active. If you want to see various things rather than take a quiet walk, I recommend Juknokwon.

We drove 3 hours to go there but it was closed. Seems that it is closed for some time now it looked abandoned...even if their website says it is up and running as normal

Even though in their webpage, the park was shown as oppen, when we when there everything was closed without any information.
