Muju Deogyusan National Park was my first and most impressive destination. It's incredibly beautiful, like heaven on earth. If you go during peak season, the park will be covered in pristine snow, just like in the movie Frozen. Remember to check the weather and temperature before you go. Going after a snowfall is ideal, ideally from late December to January, so you don't miss out! For those who plan to hike uphill without worrying about slipping or falling, I recommend bringing spiked shoe covers. You can also rent them for 5,000 won.

A national park famous for Muju Resort, fireflies, and the snowy scenery of Deogyupyeongjeon. The gentle mountains are incredibly beautiful. You can reach the summit relatively comfortably by taking the cable car.

The beautiful Seokgodae was cold, but I enjoyed the beautiful snowy scenery. I easily climbed to the top by gondola and came back down! It snowed that day, so crampons were essential ❄️

The hiking trail to Deogyusan Hyangjeokbong is well-maintained and has a gondola, so if you want to see the snowy mountains, go there.

A must-visit place when it snows. Sangodae is so beautiful. The snowy landscape itself is a magnificent painting.
