Gaehwasan Land
Excellent place for travelers with a long layover in Seoul! I had an overnight layover between Incheon (ICN) and my next flight from Gimpo Airport, and this spa was the perfect place to rest. The facility has clean showers, sauna rooms, and a comfortable sleeping area where you can relax for several hours. The price is very affordable. I paid about 13,000 won for roughly 10 hours, which is amazing value compared to hotels near the airport. It’s also very convenient for travelers. The spa is only about a 15-minute taxi ride from Gimpo Airport, and the taxi fare was around 6,000 won. I also felt very safe staying there overnight, which is important when you are traveling alone during a long layover. There is a small snack area where you can buy coffee, drinks, and ramen noodles, but there is no full dining option. Toiletries are available to purchase if needed. The spa provides clean towels, shorts, and T-shirts for relaxing, which are included in the price. You can also request a blanket for about 1,000 won, although the place is centrally heated and quite comfortable. Highly recommended for everyone — solo travelers, single women, men, and even families who need a safe, affordable place to rest during a long layover in Seoul.
I needed a place to stay overnight before leaving Gimpo Airport for a backpacking trip to South America, so I stayed here. This place is great for backpackers. It's 1,400w, and there's a spacious area with a bath, sauna, and Wi-Fi so you can take a nap. There are limited charging points, so if you can get one, it's incredibly comfortable. If you're very picky or like to ask for things you can't have, go to a hotel. It probably won't suit you. If you're happy to sleep anywhere, this is the perfect place.
한결같은 사우나 One of my childhood neighbourhood sauna that is as good as the past. It's about 9000₩ for a standard sauna & jjimjilbang. Located near Gimpo Airport(near Gaehwasan station), and it's pretty cosy and quiet on weekdays. I know saunas like Dragon Hill Spa & Resort near Yongsan station is popular among tourists, but I suggest tourists try this sauna too; ah, go on weekdays if possible. (Gaehwasan Land Sauna)
The largest sauna and jjimjilbang near Banghwa-dong. While it's been in business for a long time and is somewhat dated, it's consistently well-maintained and comfortable to use. The men's bath attendant is skilled, and as of May 2025, the price is 20,000 won. The staff are very friendly.
I arrived at Gimpo Airport on a late-night flight, and since my flight the next day was in the morning, I didn't think it was worth staying at a hotel, so I stayed here for one night. While some people seem to take the bus or subway from …
