I came to Ganwoljae during the summer holidays, and the water was so smooth and soft that I wanted to return in the fall to see the silver grass fields and stay a night. So, I looked for a place to stay. It seems like most of the Deungeok Hot Springs complex doesn't offer breakfast, but Ganwolsan Hot Springs Hotel has a public bathhouse, so I chose this one. My mom and I simply hiked up Ganwoljae and Sinwolsan Mountain, then trudged back to the hotel. There was plenty of parking, both aboveground and underground. It was a bit old, but the room was large for the price, especially the bathroom. However, we only used the public bathhouse. I thought there wouldn't be many people there on a holiday, but I was surprised by how many people were there. The bathhouse here is also quite large. My mom, who's a total socialite (she gathers information from other areas as if they were her own), found out that Ulju City receives a monthly bathing allowance from the local government for the head of household and his or her spouse, so many people come to the bathhouse here. The next morning, my mom, who had just returned from the bathhouse, said that they were building a large hot spring hotel with a bathhouse right next door, so the competition would probably hurt sales here. LOL. The water that used to be smooth when I just turned on the tap felt a bit stiff in the bathhouse, which was strange, but I still had a good rest.

I stayed in a room for one night. It's more expensive than my previous stay, but the room was in good condition. The interior design is not outdated, perhaps due to a recent remodel. The public bath is as good as you'd expect. Since it's a hot spring, I should mention the water quality. I'm not sure, but a friend who's been to a hot spring said it's good. The promotional material says it's mineral water and drinkable, so of course it's good. The outdoor terrace deck needs some renovation, but it might be better to tear it down and build an open-air bath instead. Oh, and the staff are bright and friendly. It was a bit noisy that day, perhaps because there was an event going on in the area, but it's usually quiet. I'll have to stop by again.

It is located at the entrance of the Ganwolsan Hot Spring complex, making it easy to find. When I booked the large room, it felt more like a pension than a motel, so it was great for taking children. This time, I stayed in a small room, but the room felt just like a standard motel, so it was okay. Since it is a hot spring resort, the bathroom needs to be nice; the bathtub is spacious, making it great for washing and letting the kids play. Of course, the hot spring water flows well. Both the room and the bathroom were clean and nice.

I found this place by chance because the place I was originally going to was closed. LOL It's a hot spring that I barely found after wandering around looking for the entrance on my first visit~ But it's still the best. I was worried that it would be cold after taking a hot spring bath in the winter, but the heater was really strong and it was cozy, so it was a really warm place!!

Located within the Deungok Hot Springs Complex, this hot spring is similar to a typical public bathhouse, with little difference. There are lukewarm, warm, hot, cold, and dry sauna baths, all using hot spring water.
