Buyeo Seodong Lotus Festival 🌸 We came to Buyeo with friends to catch the famous lotus festival — now in its 23rd year of celebration! But here’s the real twist: the lotus garden itself dates back to the Baekje Dynasty, making it the first man-made water garden ever recorded in Korean history. That’s not just a garden… it’s a living chapter of a love story from over a thousand years ago. 💫 The flowers weren’t in full bloom yet, but that gave us more room to breathe, stroll, and just soak in the quiet charm. If you’re planning to visit, next week should be the real floral finale. After 3 years, finally the festival is opened again. But with or without the festival, people can still come here to take pic with the lotus. As you can see from the pic, some spots dont have many lotus, some spots have few lotus. There are so many types of lotus here. They even provide cooling area, which I think not cool at all though they turn on the AC. There are lots of food cor er, this place is so big that it is enough for everyone to take pic with the lotus. The parking lot, well, I do not search first, so I parked my car quite far and I walked, in this hot summer day.. but actually they provide shuttle bus!

A quiet neighborhood park. I had a chance to visit Buyeo and took the opportunity to walk around and take some photos. There wasn't anything that felt like a "must-see," but what stayed with me the most was the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere.
