Havet Pool Villa & Resort
Since there are relatively few rooms, the resort isn't very large. I happened to visit in early October when the weather was bad, so I gave up on the courtyard pool. I stayed in the Royal Suite. It features a private swimming pool and a private hinoki tub. I went without high expectations because many photos were taken with wide-angle cameras to make the view look expansive, but I was surprised by the pool and hinoki tub, which were larger than I expected. (It's great value for the price!) The hinoki tub has folding doors in front, so it was convenient to get into the tub if I got cold while playing in the pool. The downside is that, typical of East Sea ocean view accommodations, the sound of the waves is loud, so sensitive people need earplugs. I plan to revisit next year when it's warmer! ---- Revisit It was still great. It seems like some aging is occurring, but the quality is still very good for the price! Luckily on this day, the waves weren't strong, the weather was good, and it was perfect. I'm planning to visit again when the weather cools down, as I was disappointed I couldn't stay for two nights.
I think it’s my favorite location in Korea. Found this hotel via internet a few years ago but couldn’t visit due to various circumstances. Stayed here for 7 days. Room with the balcony and Hinoki bathtub. Excellent location, excellent service, super friendly staffs. Outdoor pools (one with sea water). Reminded me Greek islands somehow… I’ll definitely be back. 🙂
The pool villa was oceanfront, so the view was amazing! The room was clean and the service was great 👍 The pool was amazing! It was a shame it was cloudy due to rain, but I'll definitely come back on a sunny day! The breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant also offered room service, which was nice!
Compared to its reputation... it is not clean at all. There were dried-up rice grains on the bed, a few strands of hair in the hinoki tub, and something like green onion stuck to the chopsticks. Dust was all tangled up on the floor and was …
It is located quite far inland from Yeongdeok. The nearest convenience store is a bit far, so you should probably bring the basics with you. The rooms and facilities were clean, and the staff were friendly. The ocean view was truly the best.
