Imsil Cheese Village When you visit, you'll hear the fascinating story of Korean cheese history, which began in 1967. Belgian priest Didier t'Serstevens, whose Korean name was Ji Jung Hwan, decided to bring two mountain goats to the Imsil area to help the local people improve their difficult lives, marking the beginning of cheese production in the region. ...And you can experience cheese-making for 13,000 won. 👉This is truly a very interesting tourist attraction.

This theampark opened pretty lately. theam is cheese because it is famous for cheese. And it is very pretty park at the countryside near Jeonju. And it's perfect place to kids as well. there is a play ground, long slide, making food with cheese, and some animals such as goat, rabbit and chicken. also kids can play at the playground. And entrance fee is free foe everyone.

If you are near here, a great place to stop by, have lunch and walk around. Flowers and fountains were so pretty. The 2nd floor of the main building has history of how Imsil started making cheese with Father Jee from Belgium.

It is a beautiful festivals. I could enjoy it much and appreciate Father Ji Jeonghwan and Imsil local government. Great. You will not miss it of you want to see what a festival is.

Can confirm that despite hours posted, I arrived and most of the buildings were closed. I pretty only came to get pictures of a few things because of that. Very disappointed. 😒
