I made a reservation for the sawdust enzyme steam bath in advance. After purchasing my ticket at the Woodland entrance, they took me to the steam bath in an electric car. The facilities were superbly maintained! I felt it was very well-maintained, and the staff was very friendly. There were two steam rooms: one with fine salt and one with pebble-like salt crystals. The temperature in the pebble-like salt room seemed a bit higher. The fine salt room seemed better for lying down and relaxing, but I had to consider the fact that it was a holiday and very crowded. The enzyme steam bath lasted exactly 15 minutes, which varies from person to person, but I personally found it to be just right. Other guests at the steam bath told me that the initial 20-minute treatment was shortened to 15 minutes due to a high number of people passing out. For reference, enzyme steaming costs 20,000 won per person and requires advance reservations by phone (reservations are required). Even for a middle-aged man unfamiliar with such facilities, this was a very appealing experience.
The walking paths were well-made, allowing me to enjoy a comfortable stroll. Although the weather was a bit cold so I couldn't explore much, I had a pleasant time breathing in the fresh air. The indoor botanical garden was well-maintained, and the forest trails were also nice, so I had a great time.
Acorns and chestnuts were scattered in the forest, and it was quiet with fresh air. Regarding the overnight stay, I was resting in the middle of the day when someone entered without saying a word because of a problem with the restroom. It was a bit disappointing because they lacked manners.
Above all, the wooden deck path leads all the way to the summit of Mt. Eokbul, making it easy for anyone to climb up to the 518m high mountain. There are many beautiful spots inside for taking photos, and the spacious area has been charmingly decorated.
