This is an old sulfur hot spring located in Myeongseok-myeon, Jinju-si. Perhaps due to management difficulties following the COVID-19 pandemic, the facilities are quite worn out. The open-air bath is no longer in operation. Furthermore, in addition to the hot spring sauna on the fifth floor, there used to be a jjimjilbang, rest area, and restaurant on other floors, but these are currently closed. The sesinsa (salt bathing) is not staffed at all times, so reservations must be made by phone or other means. However, the water is genuine sulfur hot spring water, which is truly wonderful. Furthermore, there are a steady stream of local residents and long-term visitors from nearby companies, allowing guests to enjoy the hot springs in peace and quiet.

Located on the outskirts of Jinju, the parking lot is not too crowded or crowded. The water is highly alkaline, so it washes away dirt easily and leaves you feeling refreshed after a bath. It's open 24 hours, so you can visit without any time constraints.

It's a sulfur hot spring, and the water is said to come from a depth of 1170m. I like that the water is slippery. The downside is that the facilities are a bit old.

The water is good, but I don't recommend the jjimjilbang. It's closed from midnight to 4 a.m. It's open 24 hours, but it seems like you can't enter.

Gear up

Primitive springs don’t come with towels. A quick-dry towel, water shoes, and a headlamp for the walk back all pack small.
