Isn't it enough just to mention Admiral Yi Sun-sin? At dawn in Yeocheon, at dawn, in a low-key jjimjilbang, just by meeting his name, the unfamiliarity disappears. All the fears about the familiar and unfamiliar disappear. I am even more grateful for Admiral Yi Sun-sin.
Compared to modern facilities, it's older, but I haven't been to the women's bathhouse, and the men's bathhouse has decent shower facilities. I wish there were more variety in the jjimjilbang, but the building is too small to accommodate all of them.
The men's bath is dirty, with a ton of debris in the pipes. The bath is poorly maintained. The water quality is terrible. The plumbing needs to be redone. The owner doesn't care. Closing the place is the only way to make money.
I'm a local and have been using it for six months. There are four baths in total, and the cleanest time to use them is after 10 p.m., but they are small enough to be used. However, they are quite old and worn.
It's not that big, it's just cozy. The shared jjimjilbang is a bit small. It seems more comfortable to use on weekdays than on weekends.
