Lotte Boseok Sauna Jjimjilbang

Here's the jimjilbang (Korean sauna) experience for those who don't know what to expect. (1) First you take off your shoes, walk towards the front counter to pay for the sauna (see photo for prices). Optional add-on: body scrub for an extra 30,000. You will receive two small white towels and one pink bath towel and a set of t-shirt and shorts. (2) You will also receive one key to the locker inside in either male or female areas (first it'll be the shoe locker, then clothes/belongings in a larger locker deeper inside using the same key same locker number). (3) Once you find your clothes locker, you take off all your clothes. (4) Inside the pool area, find a shower to bath yourself and soap is provided. There's sitting and standing showers off to the side so make sure you clean yourself with the bar of soap provided before you enter the baths. (5) Enter the baths based on your temperature preference. Pools: There's a really hot pool (43 degrees), pretty hot pool (41 degrees), and medium hot pool (38 dregees). There's also a pool with massage jets; there's a tepid and cold plunge. I like to go into a warm/hot pool, then do a cold plunge. There's also a dry and wet sauna rooms. When you need a break from the pools, you can put on the clothing. (and note that this main co-ed area can be easily missed) come out to the co-ed main room where you'll see a bunch of people sitting or lying on the floor on mats. This is a quiet and relaxing area so loud talking will be frowned upon. In this area, you'll be able to go into the many relaxation rooms, which also has different temperatures. There's one that looks like a clay oven and that was is really hot and there's a salt room. In these rooms, there's mats where you can sit or lie down. There's also a concession stand (snacks and drinks) and a restaurant. They take cash. People usually go from the pools, to the main room, then back to the pools and can spend all day here. It's a social experience for all ages, you can see kids here and seniors. The pools and bathing area are split up by gender and clothing is forbidden inside. The main area is co-ed and clothing provided must be worn. Everyone is pretty much barefeet. When you're done, you can shower. Bars of soap is provided, however there is no shampoo so you can bring your own or maybe you can buy it. Inside the change room, there's lotion, hair dryers, a scale, water dispenser (I brought my own water bottle to refill because you can get quite thirsty there), qtips, comb, and other amenities. Wished I had time for a full body scrub which you larounday down completely naked on the pink plastic covered stainless steel table. They will scrubbed you so all your dead skin rolls off. They will even scrub the private areas lol! You'll feel like meat on the table waiting to be butchered.. I hear it's not very painful but it's quite the experience! Overall it's a great experience! I enjoyed it very much. It's really nice you can stay there for as long as you want. Some people will stay here all day / night! Note: you aren't allowed to take photos of the change room and bath for obvious reasons.. I took the photos only because nobody was in there.

Place is also called GM Spa. The location is at B1 of the building and there are 2 entrances. Remove your shoes prior to walking to the counter and place them on the wooden table while making payment (KRW 11k per pax). You will be handed a key, proceed to the shoes locker area to store your shoes (each male and female side already separate), followed by a large changing room with locker of the same number on your key. Put your stuff and strip naked here. You can find toilet, barber, and drink counter. Get small white towel and exfoliation towel before entering the bathing area and wash up prior to dipping. Inside you will see 3 round pools of varying temperature, a jacuzzi, one room temperature pool, one chilled water pool, and two saunas. Massage service (KRW 20k-100k) is available so bring cash with you. The access to the common dining/resting area is from the main lobby (payment counter area) and you should be in the clothings they provided you. Once inside there are restaurant, gym, traditional massage, snack counter, massage machines, upstairs sleeping area, mixed gender stone saunas with different theme. Food are not exactly cheap and the staffs barely speak English, but the good thing is you see almost no foreigners at least when I visited. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

I came here to kill time while waiting for hotel check-in. I don’t speak Korean, but the staff at the front desk kindly explained to me how to use separate lockers for shoes and clothing in the bathing area. A small carry-on suitcase tightly fits in the locker. The admission fee was 17,000 won. I’ve wanted to try a Korean public bath (jjimjilbang), and I am glad I did. The coed sauna relaxation and food court area were good as well. I ended up staying for about 3 hours. I would come back again.

The location is a little hard to find it is at B1 and I dont think many foreigners come here we didnt see anyone else but the saunas and the baths are super good super hot if you like those They have a -2 degrees room and a super hot like 60 degrees room so if you like then its damn stonks we just spent like the whole day here chilling and we came on a weekday so it was damn empty as well damn worth

This place is called GoldRose Sauna on Naver Maps, and it’s on B1 (basement level 1) of the GoldRose building. It’s a little dated but the ajummas that scrub you down are fantastic. We got the “3 gods” package for 35,000 Won and walked outta there feeling like new people. We were the only foreigners and we have lots of tattoos and piercings but nobody seemed to notice or care.
