Perhaps because it's the weekend, there are a ton of visitors. There's a Paris Baguette and a CU convenience store on the first floor, a waiting area, a large parking lot, and a fairly large area. The facilities seem a bit dated, but they seem to be continuously improving and renovating. Personally, I think the price is reasonable, the water is good, and the staff, even the older ones, are friendly. There were two of us in the family bath. Although the bath was spacious, it took about 10-15 minutes to fill the water. Two hours wasn't too long. Basic amenities, including four towels, were provided, but we brought our own. We were satisfied with this. If you want a clean facility, I recommend paying the price and using the facilities that match.

The facilities are clean and the water is good, there are two groups of event baths, a lukewarm bath where you can lie down and get a water pressure massage, a cold bath with a regular waterfall next to it, and a massage for the muscles around your shoulders and neck (trapezius) that is great. There is a convenience store right next to the counter where you can wait while sitting on a chair, and there is a snack bar in front so you can get a quick bite to eat.

This is Gyeongnam Province's first health hot spring, and it's said to have been drilled on its current site during the Japanese colonial period. With a spacious parking lot, a convenience store at the entrance, and numerous restaurants nearby, it's a great place for a weekend hot spring outing. While the facilities show signs of age, the water is excellent. While lodging isn't available, a family bath is also available.

Every year, after finishing the holiday feast, I head to a hot spring to soak my tired body. I've been to many different hot springs, but none compare to Wontang. The spacious baths are well-equipped and clean, and the low cost and free use of all amenities, including a hair dryer, are a delight, even my daughter raves about them.

It was clean and nice considering the time it was open. However, the price for two hours, including two preschool-aged children, was a bit pricey at 55,000 won. This is for a special room.
