With a history stretching back well before its first official record in 1454 (Sejong Sillok), Magumsan Hot Springs has been a legendary healing spot for centuries. The water is 100% natural, pumping at 57°C and packed with over 20 minerals like germanium, making it world-class for skin health and pain relief. Please be aware that this is a traditional Korean-style public bath (Mok-yok-tang). The facilities are strictly gender-segregated, and you enter the baths completely nude. While the bathhouse setting is simple and local, the "miracle water" quality is truly historic and leaves your skin feeling incredibly smooth!

I often went to the family bathhouse with my family and even my young nephew. I could wash up while resting in the room. The bathhouse was large, which was nice. I still go once or twice a week. My legs were hurting, but I saw on TV that Bukmyeon Hot Springs was good. About 30 years ago, I took a bus from Hapseong-dong and went there with my family. I still remember the old, run-down hotel.

There are too many people but very few amenities. There isn't even basic soap, and there are only a few hair dryers, so I can't even dry my hair.

The large parking lot was full, but contrary to my worries, I still had a good time bathing in the bathhouse.
