O’Reve Hot Spring & Spa

Over hyped hot spring. Paid 50k won for entry after 6pm yet I still don’t find it worthy for the dollars. Staff could not speak English except for one staff who could speak Chinese really well. Explained the amenities briefly and we also opted for the dinner set +20k won. Was brought to the shoes locker and then the changing room/indoor pools area. Nothing else was explained. Was told that there would be jazz music for Christmas at 7 and 8pm but missed the earlier one as dinner took a longggggg time. 10 mins waiting to be served. 10 mins for a table. 50 mins for food to be served. Main dish wasn’t delicious but side dishes were nice. The other rooms like oxygen room, halotheraphy etc were fine. Sauna was good. Nothing fanciful. Indoor pools at 40 and 20 degrees but one was under maintenance. Pretty crowded and chaotic.

As JW guests you get 50% off, so we paid 100,000 KRW each, which is still too high for what o’reve offered. Facilities were very clean and new, but multiple rooms (3+) not fully functioning and 80% of the various pool jet features were broken. 5,000 KRW to rent ‘premium’ bath towels and additional charge to use cabanas, though normal towels and sunbeds are available. Outdoor view looks into JW’s garden so no special views. If you’re a JW guest, the hotels existing amenities are as good or better so don’t waste your money on o’reve. However it was close to empty on a weekday afternoon which was nice.

One of the best spa I’ve been to! Beautiful with the outdoor hot springs and the indoor hot tubs ( like in most Korean spa, you will have to be naked at the indoor hot tub, it’s separated for men and women) Don’t miss the spa indoor: put your Jjimjilbang clothes on and take the big middle stairs that go down and you’ll find hang out areas as well as themed rooms : snow room, the salt room, the wood room etc. There’s even a bar and a restaurant there! We almost missed it by lack of explanations but it was so much fun I wish I had more time to go back.

The experience was not as hyped up to be, paid half price after 6pm but still did not find the experience to be worth it. Paid extra for dinner option but needed to wait 1.5 hours for a seat and food to be served. The hot pools outdoors were not that hot the only nice part was the 70 degrees sauna and relaxing o2 room. If at crowded times kids will make the whole experience even worse with the nosie. There were kids in the salt room throwing salt everywhere as well.

This spring & spa is a dream. My family had a wonderful time here — it was as if we were the only ones there. From the baths, the indoor pool to the outdoor pools (on a wonderful sunny day), it was just a relaxing experience. The place is clean, luxurious and if you stay there for 5-6 hours, the price is certainly worth it. My daughter said it was the best day ever. One small comment, found it strange that they made my bald husband wear a swimming cap 😅🤣
