Jimjilbang/shower Very nice the men’s shower has high temp 48, very hot and low temp 21. A number of different pools to choose from with a bunch of healing properties. The Jimjilbang is very nice and has many different rooms with various temps, there is also an outside area you can sit and relax in if it gets to hot. The cold and wood sauna were not working but still had the great wood burning smell. This is worth your trip to go the extra few kilometers out of your way. Even if you do not like Korean saunas the area surrounding it has plenty of trails for hiking, rivers, shopping and a very nice hotel, highly recommend. The breakfast buffet is very nice it is designed around a healthy diet which mostly vegetarian. This compliments the 5 healthy aspects to complete your day that they focus on in the resort walking, hot spring, sauna, buffet, yoga. The buffet was 25,000 room rate on weekend 140,000. I didn’t stay in the room though.
The hotel room is very spacious and nice. There is a sofa, TV, and double bed in the living room, and there are two rooms with one single bed. It is old, but clean and spacious. The hot spring is also located in the basement, which is convenient.
There is a hot spring at this hotel, and it’s open for public. You should know how to get here by bus if your staying in Yang Yang or sokcho, a bit far maybe by taxi it’s 50,000 to 80,000 won one way. It was a great experience
You can get a discount using Naver or Naerincheon Rest Area receipts, but the baths and sauna were generally lukewarm. There was only soap inside, and the outdoor bath was also disappointing...
The equipments were a bit old. But this place has very well organized bathing program to enjoy the Carbonated Hot spring with other healthy activity such as Joga or fintness and organic food.
