Roman Bath (Korean Spa)

The parking lot is large, but there were hardly any empty spaces. I had high expectations since it was advertised as hot spring water, and the water was indeed good. Adult/Child Weekdays 12,000 KRW, Weekends 13,000 KRW Sauna suit 2,000 KRW (non-refundable) VIP tickets are currently on sale; you can purchase them at a discounted price if you buy 10 tickets. (Valid for 10 months, sauna suit sold separately) Note: Additional charges apply 18 hours after entry. Children's playroom (3rd floor) open, massage room available on the 3rd floor. Separate from the sauna, there is a rock bath near the entrance. It appeared to be free of charge, but since a large towel (rental fee 3,000 KRW) is mandatory, it felt like the actual fee was 3,000 KRW. I didn't go inside. Based on the bathhouse, the Bulhanjeungmak is located on one side, while the sauna is on the other side if you go up. The Bulhanjeungmak was hot, but it was also crowded and smelled strongly of sweat, so I left quickly. The sauna is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and there is a floor guide available. Besides the sauna, there are plenty of other activities to do, including a Dr. Fish spa, an arcade, comic book and novel rentals, a movie theater, a table tennis room, and even badminton rentals. Bringing outside food is prohibited. In addition to the standard snack bar, there is also a fish cake stall with an izakaya vibe. The variety is incredible, ranging from shaved ice and ice cream to fried chicken, pizza, Korean food, snacks, and bar snacks. The fried chicken, which seemed to be the most popular item, was being fried continuously. I almost got lured in by the smell. Although there is a sign saying to eat the fried chicken in the lounge after ordering, no one was eating there; everyone was sitting at their reserved seats to enjoy it. It was quite peaceful. Instead of going to the ice room, I looked around the outside area. There is a barbecue-like space, a red clay room, and a restaurant called Neowajip. There is also a water park on the opposite side, so I realized once again that the scale is larger than I expected. It looked like a great place for families, groups of friends, or dates. It's quite large, so it looks like you could spend the whole day there. There were so many spots reserved in the bathhouse that it was hard to wash up, but the water was good. It was a place worth visiting at least once.

It was the weekend, so there were quite a few people. However, it was disappointing that there weren't any staff to organize the mats and maintain cleanliness. I ordered a cup of ramen and a Maekbanseok egg Americano at the concession stand. There was no pickled radish. The Maekbanseok egg tasted dry. The warm Americano was so questionable that I wondered if it was even drinkable. It was much worse than Mega Coffee at 1,700 won, but it was more than twice as expensive. The concession stand owner had a grumpy expression, perhaps because he was tired or didn't want to work. The concession stand floor was littered with food scraps from customers. It was quiet in the early morning, so I wondered if they could clean it up a bit. The hot spring facilities were nice, but the concession stand facilities left much to be desired.

It was the middle of winter, so the family came here for a jjimjilbang (Korean sauna) and a bathhouse. It was my first visit over the weekend. Pros: 1. The parking lot is spacious. 2. There's a variety of food options, including chicken, pizza, ice cream, and a snack bar. Cons: 1. As soon as you enter the jjimjilbang, the smell of chicken fat hits you. It's enough to give you a headache. Even if you're not hungry, the smell of chicken fat makes you full. 2. It's so crowded on weekends. I'm not sure what it's like on a weekday. It's really crowded on weekends.

Is it because they're on a roll? The first thing you encounter at the desk in the lobby is their mechanical, cold, and blunt demeanor. They don't even greet you. Is it because they're veterans? I suggest installing an unmanned desk. Overall, it feels like an old-fashioned public bathhouse. They should remodel. I wish they'd also provide information about the water quality.

There is a wave pool and a regular pool, and the sauna is great too. It seems like a good place to come with elementary school kids! If you plan to come on the weekend and eat chicken, you need to order by 11 AM. Otherwise, you will easily wait 1 to 2 hours. The chicken is delicious!! There is also an activity room with hands-on play areas on the 3rd floor.
