Very cheap for the onsen pools (half price if staying at the hotel next door) - you have to be naked - good selection of different pool temps, we went in October so there was only 1 outdoor pool open in the womens section, the main outdoor area is only open for a few months in the summer. Very fun experience and easy to follow signs for the shoe removal area and the changing areas

This place is unique as it as an outdoor area where you can dip in smaller pools and bask in a sunshine on a reclining chair or simply on the tiled hard floor after a scorching hot sauna indoors. But not sure if you have gumption to do so as many westerners squimish on the idea if expoding their naked body to people, especially Asians.

The hot spring lowered the temperature because there were no people. I was shivering from the cold; while there was a thermometer in the indoor bathhouse, there wasn't one in the indoor pool. Only after I complained that the temperature was too low did they raise it slightly.

This is a germanium hot spring located in Gochang. Although the facilities are old and somewhat outdated, it is worth a visit if it is not too far away.
