Sol Beach Namhae

I had conquered every Sono Hotel across the country, but since Sol Beach Namhae had just opened, I had been looking forward to visiting for a long time, and finally got the chance. However, regarding the flooring of the porch where cars enter... why on earth did they finish it with something like pebbles? As a result, the car rattled a lot as it drove in, and the tires... The room was satisfactory, and the ocean view from the window was romantic. Since all rooms offer ocean views, there was no need to worry about room assignments. The villa section is designed to resemble the terraced rice fields of Darangyi Village in Namhae. However, what really surprised me was that all the plants within Sol Beach were artificial. I saw a yuzu fruit and touched it, thinking "How interesting!", but it turned out to be styrofoam... I deducted one star because of this. The multi-cultural space, See More Sea, was quite disappointing. The window frames were too thick and ruined the view. The ocean view from the Sunset Walk is much better. Bare Restaurant, located within the resort, wasn't exactly amazing, but it was decent enough to try just to enjoy the atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the yuzu gelato at Meridione Bakery & Cafe. Room service was disappointing. When I first entered the room, the TV history hadn't been reset, so my previous login and search records hadn't been deleted. Anyway, it was a generally satisfying trip.

The room is tidy and clean, but to achieve that, guest convenience was completely disregarded. With two double beds, guests are typically accommodated by 3 to 4 people; is a single round table with a diameter of 40 cm really the best they could do? (The height is also only about 50-60 cm.) If the shower and toilet are separated, isn't it common sense to put a small sink in the toilet stall? Since you can't wash your hands after using the toilet, it's neither a situation where you can use both spaces simultaneously, nor one where you can't. Three of us stayed for two nights, and it was inconvenient because there was too little storage space in the room and shower area. Aside from this, there were too many other minor details where guest convenience was not considered. Even if I visit Namhae again, this accommodation is not a priority. There were no issues with the cleanliness, noise between floors, or the temperature.

Sol Beach opened in Namhae last year... I booked an ocean view room. It wasn't a full ocean view, but rather a bit to the side. The view was still good. The room was a triple room, with a double and a single twin bed. The bedding was very comfortable and nice. The room was a bit small, giving it the feel of a Japanese hotel. The bathroom had an attached sink and shower. A separate bathroom was across the hallway, but the space was so small that it was difficult to open and close the door while sitting on the toilet. There weren't any other amenities nearby, so it was best to use the amenities or bring your own. In general, the amenities felt expensive, even with coupons.

It is the perfect place to relax without a care in the world. The view is great, and the walking paths are well-maintained. The illuminated walking paths at night are also lovely. The dinner buffet is expensive, but they have lobster, so I am satisfied. There is also an ice rink, so you won't get bored even if you stay only within the accommodation without going anywhere else.

An ideal resort location built on a seaside cliff. It was a shame that the infinity pool was under renovation, but the various amenities and services were satisfactory. The rooms and facilities are top-notch among Sono resorts.
