소쇄원

A place filled with bamboo trees and Korean style houses. This place is a man-made garden from the Chosun dynasty, where intellects gathered and exchanged thoughts and ideas, as well as drink booze. Entrance fee of 2000 Won will let you experience this serene hideaway. Recommended if you are in the area.

There wasnt very much to see here. We went there in January and there wasn't any foalage due to it being winter. The old building was nice but considering the time it takes to get out there and the long intervals between buses, I think our time would have been better spent seeing something else.

It's not a very large garden but it's extremely beautiful with a lot of details considered in the placement of certain trees and buildings. The river stream is also very beautiful full with moss and boulders. Highly recommended if you are in the area looking for a short walk.

This is one of the most peaceful place I have ever been and bamboo forest is so refreshing!!! Watch out for every corner of it. You will enjoy it even further such as looking wind chime into the air and so much more
