Splas Resom

Absolutely garbage! They seem more interested in how to rip you off for more money than offering a good service. You need a hat to swim... but no swimming caps so you end up with a baseball cap for 22,000 won that serves no purpose. Then you need to rent a life jacket! YES... a life jacket!!! If you want to sit on a sun lounger while you put it on, that's 10,000 won please! I don't get why people wear leggings, shorts, shirt, life jacket, hat, rubber ring, just to have a bit of swim fun?! OinK

It's a great place for the whole family. I personally went there for a workshop in one of their first class executive conference halls. Absolutely amazing and fantastic. During our recess, we were able to walk around the facility. There are great cafés and restaurants with mouthwatering food. They also have a fully equipped spa that I was unfortunately unable to try out but will be back soon to visit. Maybe I'll also sleep over in their seemingly luxurious resort rooms

I had a very nice and fun time at Splas. The rooms of the resort are very spacious and offer a lot of comfort. Food in the restaurant is amazing. I visited the spa which was a bit hard as a foreigner, since all signs are in Korean only. Staff was super friendly and helped me and I got a relaxing soak. In the neighborhood there are lots of beautiful things to see and you can easily walk around and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The shrine in particular was impressive.

It is a very good place to visit with children to experience a Korean style water park. This place also doubles as a spa. It would be an interesting experience for non-koreans. If you want to have a more specific idea as to what to expect, research "대중 목용탕". It is simply a public communal bath. I would certainly go here again when I am back in Korea. Only down side was that it ridiculously packed on a Saturday. I suppose that is expected on a summer weekend.

The view from the rooms on the Splash side is great because they all have a view of the water park and the mountain. Also, on the first floor, there is a Shabu-shabu restaurant, Galbi restaurant, and Singyu Fried Chicken restaurant, all in the Splash Resort building. ^^ It's great to go to the water park with hot spring water.
