Yeoncheon Horogoru Ruins
Horogoru Ruins located just beside Imjin River, Gyeonggi do. Basically not so much to see so it is quite easy to take picture like these. Before going to the fortress ruins, there is public relation office, the office lady was very friendly explaining the history of this fortress.
It is a very good scenery place, but not much to see of the fortress. We couldn't go up to the top of the fortress because it was very icy. There is a small museum and the old lady there was so kind and very good at explaining all abt the fortress and the river next by.
Unfortunately, by the time I visited this place on August 24th, all the sunflowers were gone; however, they still had a decent scenery. I would like to visit this place again next summer when the sunflowers are fully bloomed.
It's a 10-minute walk across from Dujiri Maeuntang, and the sunflowers are beautiful in September. The Three Kingdoms period fortress is a famous photo spot.
It’s a bit of a stretch to go out of your way to visit, but if you’re passing by, you absolutely must stop by. It’s quiet and the scenery is wonderful.
