You One Jae

I felt like I was in a truly authentic hotel. Most hotels these days have significantly lower service quality, but here at Yuwonjae, they offer personalized service from the moment you step inside. My wife and I were planning to stay overnight, and I mentioned wanting to try the hot springs because of my back problems. It was close to Seoul, and the hotel included fine dining. I thought Yuwonjae would satisfy all of these needs, so I booked it. I loved the building's exterior, which resembles a work of art, and the hotel's interior. The room was larger than I expected. The bedrooms are all similar, but the interior is luxurious, reminiscent of a Japanese ryokan. The amenities, including a Dyson hair dryer, and even the outdoor terrace. It was perfect for couples. What really made our stay truly enjoyable were the dinner and breakfast!! Wow. We've eaten at many Michelin-starred fine dining restaurants and hotels in Seoul, but this was the most satisfying meal we've ever had. The food was fresh and seemed to be made with the finest ingredients. And the harmony of colors, each piece like a work of art, was so visually appealing. I was amazed and realized why there were so many compliments on YouTube and Naver. I heard the chef was famous, so I wanted to meet him. It was a truly satisfying meal. If possible, I'd like to come back in the summer. The room is great, but the staff told me that Yuwonjae's menu changes with the seasons, so I'm curious about the summer menu. I definitely want to come back again. Anyway, I had a good meal and a good rest. There were a few other negative reviews, but while everyone's thoughts and feelings are their own, based on what I saw, felt, ate, and experienced, I'm also including my personal opinion: how could someone think that way when they couldn't have experienced something like that? Anyway, I loved it~~~~ I'm a frequent hotel guest.

I was overwhelmed by the sophisticated and luxurious atmosphere. I enjoyed the private hot springs, and the comfort and amenities rivaled those of a five-star hotel. What made my stay at Yuwonjae so special was the meticulous attention to detail. The amenities, filled with carefully selected brands, truly exemplified the hotel's premium values. The subtle fragrances and exquisite textures made even my time in the bathroom feel like a form of therapy. The refined amenities, which complemented the interior design, once again demonstrated the deep care put into them. The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the dining experience. The dishes, which maximized the flavors of seasonal ingredients, were presented with such exquisite care that they almost seemed like a work of art, leaving me almost regretful for eating them. The exquisite course meal, enjoyed in the tranquility of the space, was one of the most memorable culinary experiences of the year.

Great small spa hotel, but not without flaws. The rooms are gorgeous and have their own garden and semi outdoor bath. The hotel feels very private, even if it is supposed to be fully booked. The public bath is quite minimalistic but clean and well maintained. The concept is clearly to replicate the onsen ryokan experience. However the (included) food was a letdown. The 9-course "fine dining" dinner course felt unnecessary, almost gimmicky (dry ice, really?). I really wished they would have focused on local and high-quality ingredients to provide simple but healthy and hearty meal options. But it looked as if they tried to justify the 2M price tag with the meals.

I was very satisfied with my stay at Yuwonjae Hot Spring Hotel. The hot springs were excellent, but the fine-dining style food was especially delicious. The refined composition and sophisticated plating, which brought out the flavors of the ingredients, made each meal feel special. The quiet and elegant atmosphere added to the experience, making it a hotel I would definitely visit again.

The interior is Korean yet modern, with everything luxurious, and the bedding was especially comfortable. The private hot springs in the rooms were a real treat, allowing for complete privacy. Above all, the quality of the Korean fusion fine dining was truly exceptional. I've traveled extensively and been to many fine restaurants, but this was the best meal of my life.
