유성온천불가마사우나
Big sauna and jimjillbang. Go up to level 5 for lobby. I got the option for sauna + jimjillbang at 11,000 won for adult but if you just want sauna it is 9,000 won. The staff will pass you the towels and clothes (if you’re doing jimjillbang) and key with number. This is for the shoe lockers (women on left and men on right). Take off your shoes before you step on the wooden platform. Then find the shoe locker that matches your key number and lock your shoes in it. Take the key and put it on your hand because you won’t want to lose it. Enter the changing area for your respective gender then look for the clothes locker that matches your key. You’ll need to bring your own shampoo and body wash else you can buy small sample packets with cash in the changing areas. Carry cash around if you’re going to use the restaurant or massage area. The sauna is the same as everywhere else- full body shower before you enter the hot or cold areas. Jimjillbang area is on the 6th floor and walk along the wooden floor barefoot where the shoe lockers were and take the lift up. Sikhye was good! The rooms vary in heat so you can choose what you’re comfortable with. I had a 30 mins massage for 40,000 won too that was refreshing! The seaweed soup at the restaurant tasted bad though. Overly salty with an artificial taste. Spent 3 hrs plus here and very happy with it!
This is a brilliant jjimjilbang, certainly the best of those I visited by a long shot. Their prices are also very reasonable. The place is spotless. The (mens) sauna area has 5 baths, four inside of varying temperatures and a fantastic outside one. There is a large body-temparure pool with massage jets and a good-sized cold pool, also with jets, two steam rooms and a dry sauna. There are also loungers both outside and inside. The massage and body-scrubs are great and you won't have to wait long. You can also get a haircut - barber is very skilled. Plenty of washing and grooming facilities too. Staff are great. Dry area is also very nice - especially the ice room! Didn't stay the night. It is very popular but spacious and just a great place to relax.
It seems like a jjimjilbang worth visiting in Daejeon. The hot sauna room makes you sweat the most and leaves you feeling refreshed. Since there are comfortable sleeping areas like caves, it seems many people come in at night or in the early morning to stay overnight. The sauna is large and spacious, and since there is an outdoor hot spring bath, I think it is a great place to visit in the winter.
The water isn't too hot and the temperature is just right, so it's fine for children to visit. There is a sauna and double rooms available, so it's fine for two people to come. You can take a shower, lie down, and sleep feeling refreshed. I highly recommend it!
I couldn't take a picture of the bath, but I didn't have any major inconveniences using it. There's a playroom, so it's good for taking children with you, and there's a cave, so it's good for resting.
