Mobile Oaks RV Resort
I bought a travel trailer from a family friend. She had already paid the rent until the first of June and we were going to be allowed to stay there and just start paying on the first of June. My boyfriend has chronic breathing problems. We had a situation happen and they told us we had to leave because I had to have the cops and ambulance here to get me. He was put out with no where to go. I was hospitalized for 2 days because of the situation that I had going on. Tammy was very rude. She gave my boyfriend a letter of eviction, with the wrong date, and both of our names were wrong on the letter. She gave less than 24 hours to evacuate, but let the rv stay in the park. (It is supposed to be moved tomorrow.) When I tried to speak to Tammy about the eviction process, she over talked me and told me the eviction laws didn’t apply to this park. I tried to explain my situation to her, but she didn’t want to hear it. She lied and said there were “gunshots at our camper the previous night.” I nor my boyfriend own any firearms. I tried to explain about my disability as well as my boyfriend’s but she was very non-caring. I really felt discriminated against. She stated, “if the cops are called, that’s automatically dismissal from the park.” (If I feel unsafe, I will call the cops for safety.) I’m just wondering what is being hid that they don’t want the police in here if it is for a safety situation. (No, my boyfriend was not abusing me. This is a situation from my past, that I felt unsafe.) I see other people’s comments about the management, but I never had anyone talk to me or met anyone besides “Tammy” that is supposed to work in the office and run the park. I feel let down and discriminated against.
This was our second trip down in less than 6 months and already planning another! We love cabin #2 and feel like it is our home away from home! As a coffee lover, I love that the staff provides coffee and flavored creamer! The cabin is so clean and comfortable. A/C is amazing! The cute little soaps and shampoo/conditioners/body lotion and wash are perfect! We love the fact that we have a shower in our cabin, but for efficiency we also used the bath house. It was amazingly clean and was very helpful for letting us both shower at the same time. Julie and Tammy are amazing and made sure we had everything we needed! Julie also told us of so many great places to eat out while we were there! We noticed a nail sticking out of the bottom of the railing on the walkway and we let Julie know and she had the maintenance guy, I think his name was Jayden, know and he had it fixed up in no time flat, so the attention to safety is top-notch! We can not wait until our next trip down! We absolutely love staying here!
We’ve been living here full time and honestly, it’s been amazing! We spend so much time outside because there’s just so much to enjoy. The pool is perfect for hot days, and the lake is great for fishing or just taking a peaceful walk. Feeding the ducks and geese is always a fun little bonus. The campground is kid and pet friendly, which we really appreciate. Julie and Tammy in the office are so sweet and always willing to help with anything. We’re really happy to call this place home!
I recently stayed in a cabin for a full week and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The property’s location was ideal, offering a picturesque lake view and the charm of ducks and geese freely roaming the grounds. The atmosphere was serene and relaxing, providing the perfect escape. The staff were exceptional, with special recognition to Tammy for her professionalism, warmth, and prompt responsiveness throughout my stay.
This resort is so amazing! There's tons of shade at the sites, huge swimming pool, and a beautiful lake for fishing, kayaking, and walking your dogs! Everyone has been so friendly, a real family feeling community here! Don't forget the wonderful people who hold it all together, if you ever need anything Julie, and Tammy are always on top of it making sure you feel happy, and safe! We love it here!!
