ReTreet Resort & Spa
If I could give Retreat Resort and Spa 10 stars, I would. I spent three days and three nights here over the New Year holiday, and it was exactly what I needed going into 2026. Calm, peaceful, quiet, and spacious. Enough peace for everybody. Everything was already laid out and beautifully decorated from the moment I arrived, which made it easy to settle in and actually relax. I stayed in the Lucky Green 13 tiny cottage, and it was perfect. Thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and just the right amount of cozy without feeling cramped. I brought my own food from Trader Joe’s and cooked and ate there with no issues at all. The property itself is gorgeous and spread out, so you can walk, work out, sit, think, or do absolutely nothing if that’s the plan. One of my favorite experiences was spending time at the Medieval Storm Shelter. It was peaceful, unique, and added to the overall experience in a way I did not expect. Having the golf cart made getting around easy and fun, and I appreciated the freedom to move around the property without feeling rushed or crowded. This trip was about business planning, reflection, and resetting, and Retreat delivered on every level. Next time, I am absolutely coming back to enjoy the Nordic Cycle with the hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge. I highly recommend this place for a solo reset, a staycation, or even a family gathering. Beautifully done, well thought out, and worth every minute. I will definitely be back.
Our recent stay to celebrate my parents 60th Wedding Anniversary at this venue was exceptional from start to finish. The property is thoughtfully designed, with a variety of beautiful lodging that each offer their own unique charm while still feeling cohesive and welcoming. Every space was clean, comfortable and well-maintained, making it easy for all of our guests to relax and enjoy their time. The Star Dome where the party was held was truly the highlight. It created such a memorable setting. It was open, airy, and visually striking and felt very intimate for a this special meaningful gathering. It added a special atmosphere that elevated the entire event and made it feel unlike a typical venue experience. Many of our guests participated in the Nordic Cycle! Fun!! It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into creating an experience that balances beauty, functionality and comfort. This venue offers something truly distinctive and it worked perfectly for both hosting an event and accommodating guests. Brenda was exceptionally helpful throughout the entire process, handling every detail with care and precision. Her responsiveness, organization and willingness to step in wherever needed made everything significantly easier. She brought a level of personal attention that streamlined the experience and reduced stress at every stage. We all would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a setting that feels both elevated and inviting.
Our anniversary stay at ReTreet Resort and Spa in Scottsboro, Alabama was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt an overwhelming sense of peace and romance that made the entire getaway unforgettable. The setting is absolutely breathtaking—tucked away in nature with stunning views that instantly slow you down and invite you to truly relax. Our accommodations were immaculate, beautifully designed, and incredibly cozy, striking the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. Every detail felt intentional and thoughtful, making it feel like a true retreat from everyday life. The atmosphere was serene and intimate, ideal for celebrating a special milestone like an anniversary. Whether it was enjoying quiet mornings surrounded by nature, unwinding together in such a tranquil space, or simply soaking in the calm, ReTreet provided the perfect backdrop for reconnecting. The staff was warm, attentive, and welcoming without being intrusive, which only added to the overall experience. It’s clear that this resort values excellence and guest experience at every level. If you’re looking for a romantic, peaceful escape to celebrate something special—or just to rest, recharge, and reconnect—ReTreet Resort and Spa is an absolute gem. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our return. Highly, highly recommend!
Oh my goodness this place is amazing! We stayed in a tiny cottage (Blue Feather) the staff here are genuinely friendly, helpful and you can tell that they love their job! Every single plug, to toilet paper holder was well thought out! I highly recommend staying here for a quick getaway!! We came in January and enjoyed sitting by the fire! The stairs are attic stairs so as a couple in our 50’s we did have to pay attention but we did just fine! We loved the lights strung up throughout the property and we will be back! My husband has already announced wanting a cabin on the ridge next time. The best way to tell you about the options is this. Glamping tent comes with hot tub, tiny cottage private fire pit, ridge cabin both, oh and tree house a large balcony. Each of these are excellent choices it really depends on personal preference! There was plenty of toiletries, soaps, paper products, just get yourself some snacks and they even have a Keurig so just creamer! Beds were comfy, honestly I could go on and on with positive thoughts! GREAT VIBES!!!! We will be back!
We stayed in Cabin #10, The Lodge, and had such a great experience! The hot tub was an amazing and held temperature despite it being freezing out. The glamping tent was so thoughtfully done. They really thought of everything — heater, fan, white noise machine, two heated blankets, and a full coffee station. If I remember correctly, it says it sleeps four, but I wouldn’t put more than two adults in one unless you have small kids. The layout of the grounds is incredible. You can tell it was very well planned and everything is very intentional. We did try the breakfast option. It was convenient and easy, but at $55 per couple, based on the selection we received, we chose not to do it again and just went to Waterfront. Overall, it was such a fun and unique stay! We will definitely be back.
