Spring Villa Lodge
Though there is a very nice ramp for handicapped citizens, in the back, the door entrance footing is too high. Two separate motorized chairs (one of which being the guest of honor) had major issues to get the chairs into the party room. One, finally motored over with great effort (driver threw himself backward in the seat, fast and hard). The other motorized chair could not motor over the threshold and had to be lifted by a few gentlemen. Exiting later, no issue. Otherwise, it's a great venue.
Spring Villa Lodge is an interesting place. Bar-b-Que grills, full kitchen, plenty of room for a family or large group to eat and enjoy the outdoors. Just a walk across the street is plenty of Alabama History...even a haunted house....but I did not see any, just an interesting property.
