Hualapai Mountain Resort
I've come here many times. Came up on my motorcycle today for the cool Mountain Air. I was greeted by a lady at the door while I was just trying to find a place to sit down and rest before I went in there to buy a coke, and she told me not to sit down and that their seats down away from the store where I could sit if I wasn't going to buy anything! I will never buy anything from this place again let alone park my bike in this area. I have lots of money to spend but I will not spend it here! Warnings store staff are mean and disrespectful! I could understand if this was in a city with a lot of homeless. But not at a recreation Resort! I recommend don't go to this store!
We made reservations in advance to celebrate our 45th wedding Anniversary. We stayed in Suite 1 that has the little deck in back. The first night was nice however the 2nd night was not as there was a room right above us that had a guests with a large dog and all we could hear were loud steps from them and the dog. It was soooo loud!! Also we were asked when we made the reservation if it was for an occasion and we told them but nothing was mentioned at our stay so never again will we stay there!
My girlfriend and I had an amazing meal the other day. When we got there we were seated immediately. There was only a few other patrons there so we got seated by a huge window that had about 8 or 10 mule deer grazing the otherside. The food was quick and delicious. We had the potatoe skins appetizer and for the main we split the Turkey melt that had a delicious cranberry cream sauce to it that I couldn't get enough of. All in all it was a great experience and we will be going back.
A special place in a unique location. It's worth it just for the beautiful drive up there. The food is reasonably priced and excellent quality. Our waitress was great, despite it being labor day weekend and packed. She apologized profusely for it taking what I felt was a reasonable amount of time for a dine-in restaurant. We'll definitely be back whenever we're nearby!
We didn't know what to expect, but we were surprised at the delicious homemade food. The homemade taco soup was soooo good. My husband loved the spaghetti Bolognese. Homemade bread too. Yummy. I had a Mai Tai that was great. Saw an elk on the side of the road next to the restaurant.
