Hot Spring above Ground in Park

The above-ground hot springs in the park are really exciting to see. The hot water pools are beautiful and feel almost surreal, especially with the steam rising. It’s a great place to walk around, explore, and enjoy the natural geothermal activity up close. Even though you can’t get into the water, it’s still a unique and enjoyable experience that’s definitely worth checking out while in Hot Springs.

Caution, this review is more so what NOT to do at a National Park that have 100+ degree hot areas. Witnessed these two individuals putting their feet into the hot water. Seriously, they videotaped themselves putting their feet into water. Please be careful and take the precautions necessary to ensure that you don’t endanger our National parks like these two citizens. Enjoy!

Very beautiful stroll through the park. Great views of resurging hot springs, and little plaques with information along the way. I believe the trail connects to the mountain overlook. Not for sure, I didn't take that path. I experience chronic pain, so it was nice to have a smooth trail and places to sit along the way.

Oct 15th - So beautiful, had a park ranger there talking about the history of the springs and the importance of it, and answering any questions anyone may have. I for a Wed morning there were around 20-25 people. But not so crowded you couldn’t get pictures of the beautiful spring and feel it yourself.
