Hot Springs Central Avenue Historical District

Pretty downtown, but sidewalks are full of smokers & vapers in the middle of a health & wellness mecca -ruined the air quality, ambiance, & experience. A city wide smoking & vaping ban needs to be put into place immediately or you'll lose repeat visitors, especially people with young children. We were shocked & appalled at the amount of people smoking outside the bathhouses & shops & in the park(s) right in our face.

Finding parking took us a few minutes, but then we were able to walk about without with no problem. My daughter was using a knee scooter as she had a cast on her right leg/foot, and all shops have handicap access. I have gone to the spas in the past, and they are very interesting, but this time, we only visited the spa associated with Hot Springs National Park. It was a fun couple of hours!

Part of the Hot Springs National Park. Very nice walking paths off of the street. The street is lined with bath houses, shopping and restaurants, in this historic section of the town. Also the only place in the park, to actually see a hot spring.

Very nice. Wow the shops are meant for tourists you can't deny the energy you feel walking through the town seeing the mountains in the springs.
